This review is for the Onnit Alpha Brain and New Mood supplement bundle. Here's what I like:- Herbal, natural adaptogenic blends - one for memory and focus, and one for calm and mood. They really go hand in hand if you think about it. Brain fog and anxiety are common ailments in our fast paced society. Almost everyone suffers from both of these to some degree or another.- In my experience, they work. I didn't notice a "wow" difference but there was a definite difference. The mood pills gave me an enhanced sense of calm and well being, and the brain pills gave me more focus, less distraction and brain fog.- The blend on both varieties of pills seems to be legit and contains well known natural adaptogens. I don't see anything harmful in the ingredients. Both are heavy on B vitamins. If you didn't have any other health worries, you could probably get away with just taking these and a multivitamin.And here's what I don't like:- The price. $80 for a 30 day supply is pretty steep. Even if you're not good at math, you can figure out that $2 and change is fairly expensive for a few measly pills. On the other hand, if you've been taking the mood pills, you would be extremely calm about it. And the brain pills could help you to figure out how to make more money so you can buy more pills.- You might be able to approximate these blends for cheaper by compiling your own blends with the same supplements. However the amounts and ratios aren't listed. Instead it's listed as a proprietary blend. So much for that.- I don't know much about the company. I would like to think that the supplements are made out of certified organic, non-GMO, ethically sourced ingredients and processed in a GMP compliant facility, I just don't know.I usually give these things a break and give the company the benefit of the doubt. I truly hope they're not sourcing stem cells from endangered baby seals or whatever to make these pills. I'm deducting one star for the cost. Very high cost/benefit ratio, but they do seem to work.

I got this supplement to help me concentrate. I have some chronic health problems that cause pretty major brain fog and concentration issues at times. Aside from improving my diet, I figured I would try some supplements to see if I can get any better with their help. This one comes packaged nicely and has easy to swallow pills.

I don't know if I am just not responding to the specific ingredients or what, but I used up both bottles and did not feel even an ounce of impact from either supplement blend.

Overall enegery levels have improved. Took about a week of taking before I started noticing results. Works great! Great value pack! Stress levels are down as for general day to day tasks go.

These capsules are packed full of helpful supplements. I picked these for a cognitive boost, but they have a host of other health benefits. I take the Alpha Brain capsules in the morning to help me focus and get through the work day. I feel that it is helping and it is easy to take 1 capsule in the morning. I take the New Mood capsules in the evening to help me relax and go to sleep. I do find that they can make me drowsy so I take them before I go to bed. The recommended dose is 2 capsules a day. These 2 bottles together are a 30-day supply. The capsules are odorless and flavorless. They are a good size and easy to swallow. I take them in the morning and evening before I go to bed and have not noticed any stomach upset or side effects.These capsules appear high quality and have been helping me with memory and focus. They also help as a sleep aid so that is an added bonus. This supplement is quite pricey, though, so check your budget before you buy. There are a lot of other ingredients added that are beneficial and I love that they are all combined into 1 supplement so that I don't have to purchase multiple bottles of different supplements.

In terms of energy and effectiveness for focus the Alpha brain portion is a 7/10, and has great blend for daily use backed by studies. The sleep aide, which is New mood gets about a 8/10 from me as I experienced some very good rem sleep on the nights it was taken. Price wise, I'd like to say you can probably get the same ingredients in pill form for cheaper, so you're paying for the convenience here. If you find this on sale, I would easily recommend a try!

I first tried the Mood product and found it actually does help to sleep. I like this has a mineral base and if the mushroom supplements don't help with sleep, these do. Two about an hour before sleep does help to aid getting asleep more soundly.The Brain product does work to give a boost to thinking power. When I need to work on a difficult project, I found these help to focus and less errors (think building complex models.)While the price seems steep, I have found all products that help with brain power are more costly than most supplements. The manufacturer gives you an idea of the makeup of the caplets but there is also a proprietary portion. You take two of the Mood and one of the Brain, so you do receive enough to determine if these will help.
