This is cool. Software a bit dated but the effect is a talking point.

It's an ok product. There is no internal battery so it needs to be plugged in constantly and the cable is quite short. There is no stand that allows you to just have it resting on a desk or shelf. Its only wall mountable, unless you make something yourself.The app that's needed is not on the Google store and you need to download it from a site (qr code to go to the site). You also need to modify your phone permissions to allow it to be installed on your device.The interface feels a lil clunky, but manageable once you get used to it. There are some basic media types you can create within the app, such as text rotating around a sphere and the likes.Uploading media also leaves a lot to be desired. I found some video files are not always supported, possibly due to video compression?! Don't expect a high res quality from this either.I know it may sound like I'm slating it, but it's a fun little piece of tech, especially if you want to try/have an intro into these hologram fans.

The included USB drive was blank (I hope) and the iOS app is useless. You need to connect to the device’s own wifi to do anything and once you are connected, you have no internet and therefore can’t do anything.

The QR code is difficult to scan and so you have to find the correct Application on Google search. And then it takes some doing to install. Then, the application freezes your mobile phone. I had to try the application on 2 other devices. So far it seems to be working on my i-pad.There is an issue with the programming installation on the Micro SD card. Some files are missing! So you cannot install the PC version of the actual hologram program!It takes a lot of research to find holographic compatible files to upload via the play store application. You cannot just upload any picture file. It has to be PNG only. So, suffice to say I would only recommend this product only if the company sorts out the many issues.

Only the sphere with text was produced natively, all others clips were produced using other software. Stand not included with product.I bought this for my band as a cheaper and more versatile alternative to a printed banner and - as I’m sure you’ll agree from the video - the results are simply STUNNING!PROS: It looks awesome. It’s unique. It’s eye-catching. Its fun. It’s entertaining. Its memorable. It’s effective. It’s Star Wars! It’s incredibly versatile. It’s only limited by your imagination. It’s small and light. It’s unbelievable value for money. Once set up, it’s self-contained and just needs to be plugged in to run. You can even project a QR code - it really works!CONS: You need to enjoy tinkering with gadgets and battling against broken and poorly designed software to set it up. I couldn’t get it to work on a PC, windows 8,10 or 11 so had to transfer everything via my iPhone but the wi-fi connection was so unstable that after hours of turning it off and on again, disconnecting and re-connecting, this was finally achieved more by luck than design. It’s very noisy (fortunately my band is far louder!). It doesn’t have a safety cover and will have your eye out, so fine when safely on a stage but not so good for tight pubs with wobbly punters or near children that might want to touch! It’s draughty but not effective as a fan.In conclusion - and in spite of its many flaws - I absolutely LOVE IT! It’s too noisy for a quiet bedroom wall but the results are irresistible for displays in public spaces.In relation to other comments - you will want a 5.5 x 2.5mm DC Power Plug to Socket Extension Lead Cable to solve the short cable problem - they’re only a few quid. And there’s no need to subscribe to any software - that’s just an advertising pop-up.

Easy to put together, but unable to find software to run without running into what looked like heavy subscriptions, so returned.Return process was very easy with no problem so if you can find a way to get software working worth a try, but I’ll be waiting for a ready to go model now.
