Malibu Hard Water Wellness Treatment Kit, 9 Oz Shampoo, 9 Oz Conditioner And 0.17 Hard Water Treatment

I tried this product on the recommendation of my hairdresser and I was not disappointed! I was very impressed that my hair/extensions actually stayed blonde rather than the awful pinky colour they usually go when holidaying in the sun! The products also left my hair feeling soft and in good condition. Would definitely recommend , especially if you have extensions and are going on holiday abroad.

I used these products on my long hair (nearly to my waist) to remove build up of hair products, hair colour, and hard water deposits. For about 8 years, I've used the curly girl method. That means no harsh shampoos, and lots of leaving conditioner on my hair. I decided it was time to clarify my hair, to remove all the build up of product. I've been living in an ultra hard water area for years, so my hair can feel rough and look dull. I wanted to get rid of the mineral deposits, to have soft hair again. Lastly, I've been using permanent colour for years. I wanted to see how much of that colour I could remove safely, as a prelude to letting my natural colour grow out. I used this set of products twice, following the directions carefully. The results are good! I was pleased that the shampoo and conditioner cleared out a lot of the stickiness and heaviness from years of product. They broke through the mineral deposits, leaving my hair softer. They took out a lot of the colour, so my regrowth line is not as harsh and skunk-like. Definitely would purchase again.

I’ve been struggling with product build up on my scalp and lifeless curls for years, tried endless products which did nothing even after weeks of use. I used this once and my curls are curlier and healthier than they have been in a long time. I used the shampoo and conditioner with one of the sachets and I am so impressed. My hair feels healthy and the buildup is gone after just one use! It’s also taken away the orange tint which after some research I discovered was likely due to the hard water build up.

This arrived next day even though ordered very late. My hair felt really awful, terrible build up. I'm used to soft scottish water and have had a very hard time adjusting to hard water. I was very close to cutting ALL my hair off due to build up from the lime! I have a lot of varying texture, long, healthy hair with virtually no split ends. Not coloured, not processed. It's just covered in layers of hard water. I've used this once, with the weekly treatment sachet, and it was amazing. The shampoo smells amazing, i took a bit of time to work it through. The sachet smells a bit odd but lathered up well, again I took some time to work it through, about 2 songs worth. Worked it through all the tangles. Then the conditioner, it also smells amazing. The result was amazing. With all the working through and pulling i did there was a fair bit of fallout but that's to be expected when you spend so long pulling on your hair like that. No noticable change in colur. Hair is light and soft again. I can now see it only needs a trim.

Very useful if you live in an area with hard water. My hair feels extremely soft and it's very shiny after two washes. Make sure you don't overuse the products! I only use it once a month.

This was my first time doing a hard water treatment and I'm extremely pleased! I have not dyed my hair before and had been noticing in recent months a stringiness in my waves. They weren't clumping well and my hair felt heavy even after getting a haircut (which is the before picture I used). When I was a child I had blonde hair that darkened as I grew older. I was shocked to see such blonde highlights revealed in my hair after using the Malibu C Hard Water treatment. I also found that my wave pattern went from a type 2A/2B to a 2C/3A because it became lighter after the hard water buildup was removed. Now, my hair is bouncy, swishy, and clumps beautifully! I knew I was dealing with at least 12 years of hard water buildup. So, I followed most of the directions as instructed except I left the treatment on for 20 minutes with a plastic shower cap and warm towel rather than 5 minutes. After washing with shampoo a second time followed by conditioner I used a deep conditioning mask for 15 minutes to ensure I didn't leave my hair dry. I then styled it using homemade flaxseed gel and diffusing. The before and after side by side picture shows my hair styled both times. The before was styled by my hairstylist after the haircut and the after was what I had styled with flaxseed gel (I hadn't scrunched it in that picture). The second after pictures is after my hair had completely dried and I scrunched out their cast. I'm still new to taking proper care of my wavy/curly hair. This was my first time ever having a hard water treatment and using a deep conditioning masque. Since, treatment my mom has commented multiple times about how soft my hair looks and now that it can effectively receive moisture it feels soft too! UPDATE: It has been just a little more than a week since the first treatment and I did a second treatment. Now, I feel like the hard water buildup is completely gone. I have added a picture of closeup comparison of my hair in direct sunlight before treatment and after the second treatment.

I never thought I would write a review for shampoo/conditioner, but this one deserves it. I moved from a country with water I thought was hard to a country with water so hard we cannot drink it. My hair felt increasingly dry and awful. I tried moisturizing shampoos, hair oils, etc. Nothing made much of a difference. Then I stumbled on this one, and I kid you not, from the first wash my hair has felt softer and fluffier (I have not been able to get my hair cut in 7 months, so it might be TOO fluffy) I have naturally grey hair, which is usually fairly dry at the best of times and this had made it feel great. I plan to keep using this when I finally move somewhere with soft water and look forward to seeing what healthiness happens to my hair then. Cannot recommend this shampoo/conditioner enough
