I was really impressed with these Tahitian vanilla beans and would purchase again. The vanilla beans were actually 5"-7" long and plump enough to slice lengthwise. The beans were vacuum-sealed and when I opened the packet, a lovely vanilla scent was released. Since I am using these to make homemade vanilla extract, I won't know how strong or flavorful the vanilla will be until July 2025. Note: I made my vanilla extract October 2024 by using 10 vanilla beans, cut in half and then sliced open lengthwise, per 8 ounces bourbon & vodka mixed 50/50.

Tender ,fresh and great price!

I am not sure what I was expecting. I just thought they would be little vanilla beans like I got before in a jar with 2 or 3 pods. These were huge, Long and plump and the vanilla was so fragrant. I was so impressed I went and ordered 2 more.

First time buying vanilla beans . The aroma when opened them was amazing. There was 50 beans in my package. However says 6oz on the package when put mine on two different food scales they came in at just under 5 oz so not what package claimed . If purchased by weight that's anywhere from $15-$20 per oz. So that's reason for 4 stars . Some of the beans you could tell were dryer and not as plumb as others . Prob why the weight was only 5 and not 6 like package claimed . But other was seems like a good product see how my vanilla turns out in a few months.

I bought another brand and after a year of infusing, my vanilla extract was still very light in color and it still didn’t taste good. I added some of these to my mixture and within 3 months my extract is so dark and flavorful!

I’m making my own vanilla extract and these vanilla beans were all moist and well developed. I had no trouble splitting each bean. The color and smell of my developing extracts is heavenly! I’m happy I bought them.
