Great amps but they can break!
The Katana is good. This is my third one. I am a full-time musician, so these amps are used in many venues. My first is an Artist Gen 2 that is now sitting idle. I got it dialed in great, but now No Sound, and no one knows why! I bought a 50-watt Gen3 but realized that it doesn't have all the features I needed, so I got this one.PROBLEMI programmed wah wah - tested it at home for a few days. No problem.Got onstage and -- NO WAH !!!!It has not worked since! I don't have a clue why.These things are inexpensive and sound good but the Katana line can break for no reason!

Great sound
For the price, its awsome!Son has only been tinkering for a year & this was a good step up from the original one that we first bought with guitar.

Wow!
I thought I had an amp. Then I plugged into this beast. Wow! Crisp, pure highs and full throaty lows. More tones and special effects than you can imagine in one amp. It made practicing fun again! At the moment I have it emulating a vintage tube amp and it sounds great! I challenge anyone to find a better amplifier at this price point.

everything fine so far
great crisp clean sound, using it on a lap slide, no longer sounding Hawaiian or Country, not that I don't like that music but my other amps would not let me find the sound I wanted, the Boss Katana gen 3 100 is what I was looking for. Along with the foot pedal I am all set.
