Nalgene Water Bottle 'WH Sustain' – 1 Litre Botanical Florals

This Nalgene water container, gets two thumbs up! I paired this 32oz Jade Green Nalgene with a 24 oz Cup for my bug out bag. I love the color, it's not to dark or too light. It's the perfect set up. Camp, cook and drink, this Nalgene container is an essential piece of gear its the perfect size with multiple uses or applications. Nalgene bottles are extremely lightweight and inexpensive. A 32-ounce, wide-mouth Nalgene bottle costs and weighs significantly less than half that of a standard 32-ounce Hydro Flask bottle. Nalgene bottles also have the benefit of visibility into the body from the exterior. Best of all they are leak proof! Nalgene bottles are nearly indestructible. They have been tried, tested and approved, there reputation speaks for itself. I definitely recommend it! and I would buy it again!

I have been using these water bottles since I was a kid. They are big and nice they hold a lot of water - the insulation isn’t the best but it does its job. These bottles never seem to leak and they clean nicely. They don’t have a overly plastic smell!

I love Nalgene water bottles, particularly this style. Easy to scoop ice into the wide top (you can get a separate piece to sit in the top if you like drinking out of a smaller opening). Easy to open, the small this plastic piece connecting the top to the bottle not only prevents you from losing the cap, but is also a great place to clip a gym locker key! Love that it is dishwasher safe- makes cleaning this bottle a breeze AND they have so many fun colors. This one is slightly irreverent which is fun. Does not leak when tossed into a gym bag, and I’ve tested its incredible durability by kicking it around and dropping it onto a hard gym floor plenty of times. Excellent value- I’ve had one Nalgene bottle since around 2010!

If you're in the market for a plastic waterbottle, Nalgene is a great brand. They're very tough, they seal tight (especially the narrow mouth variety), and they have useful measurement markings.Why should you buy the 32oz/1qt wide mouth style in particular?* It holds a lot of water* It has a wide (stable) base compared to some brands* The wide mouth enables: - easy filling - the option of adding things like flavor pouches that would get stuck in narrow mouth Nalgenes - easier cleaningThat last point is a big deal. Every water bottle should be scrubbed out from time to time, and narrow-neck Nalgenes are very difficult to clean this thoroughly. The wide mouth does make it more difficult to drink gracefully, however, and more catastrophic when the bottle is knocked over. I recommend also buying and using the Nalgene Easy Sipper accessory, which I have used -- it works.With the shorter lid thread travel than the narrow mouth design, I am less convinced that this bottle will not leak. It's definitely a good lid and I don't think I've ever had it leak inside a bag, but I do take more care to close it tightly than I do with my narrow mouth bottle.Like any Nalgene water bottle, the external plastic is prone to dulling over time, reducing the transparency and shine of the bottle. Wear would be less apparent with an opaque bottle. The measurement markings also wear off.Short of extreme trauma to the bottle, the only thing that can break on a Nalgene is the plastic loop connecting the lid to the bottle. It's quite tough, but on larger bottles can break when the full bottle is routinely carried by the loop. This has not happened to me, but I have seen it in the wild.Why you should not buy this product:* You don't need to carry between a quarter and a third of your daily water intake around.* You don't want to risk spilling a lot of water when the lid is open.* You want a very, very secure lid.* You want a non-plastic bottle.* You want an opaque bottle.Health note: Nalgene bottles, like most reusable plastic bottles today, are BPA-free. We probably don't know as much about the chemicals used to replace BPA as we do about BPA itself, though.(Note: I purchased this bottle in 2016. I am not aware of any subsequent changes in manufacturing, if any.)

Great water bottle at a great price!

I love the muted, neutral color. I always choose wide mouth because it is easier to clean. The bottle is typical Nalgene—sturdy, lightweight, durable, no leakage. Unfortunately, it doesn’t fit in any cup holders…

It’s a great bottle, but the color isn’t as bright or vibrant in real life as it is in the picture. That said, it’s very durable and hasn’t cracked after numerous times dropping it. Great product, as always!

We love Nalgene bottles because they can hold a large amount of water and are easy to clean. They are top rack dishwasher safe, and are durable even after many washes. If you are looking for something to keep your drink cold, this isn't it, but if you need a durable water bottle that is BPA free, dishwasher-safe, etc. then I recommend this.

This is a great water bottle. Holds a litre, subdued colors so great for use in the field if you're in the military, and durable. Overall a great bottle for camping, and easy to clean too

Never tastes like plastic, holds a whole liter, confident in the lid that it wont leak or come undone, constantly at my side. Would buy again in fact this is the secound one i have bought only because I had left my old one in another province.

Bought this and on my first hiking/camping trip, the lid snapped and rendered it impossible to clip to my bag. Very disappointing for a company like Nalgene.
