Where in the 503 AM I?
Good quality, waterproofed paper stock. Easy to use-ignore the taunts and rude remarks of those digital savants whizzing past you on their way to a better place.

Not Very Detailed
Overall, it's a very sturdy and fairly good map. I was expecting more detail. It's not as detailed as the ODOT state map and is hard for me to see to read because there's so much dark coloring. That caused the marked roads to not show up very well for me.

Butler Maps are awesome
A great tool for motorcycle route planning. Clear and detailed maps with accurate information about the location and quality of roads for making that perfect trip. I like to combine these maps with the Rever app to make my routes.

I’ve been using these maps for years and they always provide a great overview with all the best routes. And they are waterproof!

Love this map.
My husband and I love to go motorcycling. We love the back roads. This BDR map is perfect for us. I plan on getting one for every state.

Fantastic Maps
Used the Butler G1 Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Montana maps for a tour of the U.S. Northwest on our adventure bikes. Hit many, many amazing paved roads that we would have missed with a regular map or GPS. Road ratings were spot-on and up to date. The only complaint I have is their color coding can be difficult to decipher as their "Gold" road highlighting looks like their "Bronze" highlighting. The price per map seemed steep but made our trip much more enjoyable and took the guesswork out of picking roads, a lot of research was obviously put into the road ratings. The maps themselves were a high quality plasticized paper and folded and refolded well. Did not test their "waterproofness" but they seem like they can handle a bit of moisture.

Do they have every single great road, no. Are they a great tool to plan a trip, yes.
As someone who lives in Oregon, it's easy to say they missed this 80 miles twisty stripe of pavement, or that one. But unless you have a well ridden local, it's a great tool to start planning a trip, and an excellent place to record your rides with highlighters. They're fun, well organized maps, and if you're not local, essential for planning a motorcycle trip. Oregon, it's as twisty as California but nobody knows about it.

The Price is Right and the map is complete
I don't like the size of it and it's very hard to fold but it shows every little nook and cranny that I've always been looking for so you put up with the two negatives for the huge positive
