Bosch SMV4HVX00G Series 4, Built-in Fully-integrated dishwasher 60 cm [Energy Class D]

It's very early days as I've only had it a week so fingers crossed that it lasts but it does have a 5yr guarantee if you register it so I'm not really concerned.Installation was very straightforward. Connect the hoses and plug it in and slip into the recess. Level up but don't fix just yet. Mark up your door front with the template (included), make small drill holes and fix the bottom weight bearing clips. Offer up to the face and screw through with the special screws (also provided). Up until now, it will feel a bit flimsy as the door adds the weight for the hinges and rigidity.Now make any final adjustments to the positioning, making sure that it's level by adjusting the screw thread feet (single back foot is adjusted with a screwdriver at the front) and that it's flush with your other cabinets. Fix the retaining plates to the underside of your worktop.Turn on the water and give the machine a first-time rinse on the hottest setting and it's ready to use.Nice, simple and clear symbols on the top panel and is App controllable, although I've not set that yet. It's not essential. It's very quiet and has a red indicator light that shines on the floor so you can see when its on.This is a large capacity machine with some extra space created in the bottom area by having the cutlery drawer at the top. This keeps all cutlery from touching each other so (make sure you keep it topped up with salt and rinse aid) you won't get any marks on it as it's all spaced out.Washing results so far - perfect!

The appliance is very quiet, has a handy adjustable shelf and a cutlery tray - must admit i prefer this to the cutlery basket, as it saves considerable space.The wifi connectivity is actually really useful as it allows you to download additional wash programs not available on the appliance. It also gives you health information of the appliance.Washing and drying are excellent, I've so far only had to use the quick wash and dry taking just 45 mins.On a side note, I also opted to pay £15 for the haul away service. I DO NOT recommend purchasing this service, as it's an optical illusion. If you need your old appliance taking away I would purchase a new appliance elsewhere.I spoke to no less than 6 Amazon "customer service" advisers, after my old appliance wasn't picked up on the scheduled day/time. I received an apology (they're good at that) and was told it would be rebooked immediately. It wasn't, so i contacted Amazon again the following day, more apologies, and I was told again that someone would be in contact. The following morning I received an email to say the service had been cancelled 😂. On contacting Amazon once again, yet more apologies, and after speaking to an escalation manager (ooooh!), I was told I would be contacted within 24/48 hours with alternative options, as the original service i requested was no longer available. On what planet is that my problem!?!You'll be very surprised to hear that I received no further contact, but was fortunate enough to enlist the help of a neighbour with a van.An utter shambles, the very worst of customer service. Please don't think that having a prime membership for over 10 years will provide any better service, and don't go searching for Amazon's complaints process - they don't have one...I wonder why.

This was purchased as a replacement for our 9 year old Zanussi. A little different to install as has no feet, it sits on a flat bottom with 2 levelling screws. All in all it was fairly easy to install DIY.Operation is easy, it is pretty quiet and the dishes etc do come out very clean.

Larger internal space as there is a cutlery tray rather than a basket but the machine doesn't clean tea cups and mugs as well as the Bosch dishwasher that it replaced

I bought the Bosch Series 4 because I thought it would be better than the Series 2. I was wrong!The cutlery draw at the top meant I couldn't simultaneously wash tall glasses in the middle shelf and plates on the bottom shelf. I also found that the cutlery was not cleaning all the bits off before baking it on with the dry function. I found myself having to chisel off food, kind of defeating the point.Have returned this and got the Series 2 instead, which comes with a normal cutlery crate.

The media could not be loaded. At the start I was a bit apprehensive to get a dishwasher, after about a month of use I must say it was worth every penny we paid just over £630 so it wasn’t something that was slept on while making the decision, I love that’s its integrated so I can buy whatever door for it to match my kitchen rather then a free standing one and a bit bulkier in the outside, I love that’s is connected to an app so it has even more functions that what’s written on the machine for example quick clean and dry which is 45mins great if you have dirty dishes and have guests coming over it also tells you how many tablets you have and when you get to 15 it will send you a message to buy some more so you don’t run out. I can control the dishwasher fully from my phone which as thirst I thought if was a bit useless but it is actually great if I forget to add some stuff I can pause it from my app although you can open it during the wash cycle it is still a good feature . If your thinking about getting a dishwasher I definitely recommend this Bosch one. ( it also comes with a 5 year warranty)
