Perfect fit - pictures show day 2 in the garden.
A large harness fitted my full-grown cat perfectly. He's at the stage of sniffing the air and the flowers and hardly notices he's got it on. He does wear a collar, so perhaps he's used to having some form of dress. I carry him out of the door so he doesn't expect to do that for himself (this prevents lots of scratching at door and making demands!) The harness is brilliant, very sturdy and well made and quite clearly comfortable. How I did it:Please introduce your cat gradually to a harness.1. Place the harness under your pillow/in your bed for 2 days to give it a familiar smell.2. Grab a handful of cheesy dreamies (or whatever). Let the cat have a couple before placing the harness, unbuckled, across his back. He will be too busy grabbing snacks to notice. If he's not ready for this, hand the treats through the harness, held in your other hand. Do this until he makes the connection between treats and appearance of harness.3. When he's relaxed in presence of harness, try reaching in and joining the velcro straps. I did the neck first, then the chest, then the buckle around the neck.4. Only leave on as long as he's happy with it (this may be just while he's eating snacks.5. Never, never, make a silly video of your cat struggling to get out of the harness. Cats are dignified creatures and he is distressed. It's not funny so lets see you tied up against your will and the world laughing at you.6. Finally, when he's ok with it, snap on the lead, carry him outside and put him down where all the gorgeous smells will distract him.It took me just two days to train Han-bell. He's recently adopted and been an indoor cat all of his 10 years - proof that none of us are too old to learn.

Size is very small
This harness is extremely small and glad I only bought one to test out the size. I have 3 cats, 1 is elderly and lost quite a lot of weight so she was small enough and skinny enough for it to fit her comfortably. The other 2 it was no good for at all and wouldn't even go around their shoulders even when adjusted. I ordered the medium size so I would advise getting an extra large if possible or even a dog harness. However, the cat that it did fit enjoys walking with it and seems quite comfortable. I just need another 2 for my other cats but think I will try a different harness, perhaps for a small dog. I gave it four stars as it is good quality and easy to adjust and take on and off, it's just the size that lets it down.

Very sturdy and secure for cat walkies.
I bought this for my Siamese cat Poppy Enya, because although she has been an indoor cat for a long time, she started trying to get out everytime i opened the French doors. Despite never using a harness before i found this really easy to put on and Poppy didn't mind it being put on. The velcro is very secure and not restrictive and the velcro sound did not scare her. The extra strap around the neck doesn't seem to do much but the velcro itself is adequate. The harness is padded for added comfort and Poppy doesn't show any signs of it being uncomfortable. I did get the size wrong on my initial order but returned it gorgeous the bigger size which was perfect. All in all I think this is great value for money, the sizing is a bit off so go a size bigger. It looks really cute on Poppy, of course she had the pink option!! I would say it's escape proof, i haven't seen any signs of her trying to get out of it. Poppy just wants to get into hers, she gets so excited when i get it ready to put on her. I would recommend this harness. Its very sturdy and the lead is long enough to keep full control I would buy another.

It good but does not fit my Cat
I've ordered so many Harnesses and still looking for the perfect fit.Overall its a good harness. I have a medium for my furbaby and it is the correct size. The problem is the actually collar and body wrap are way too large. Its like it strangles her.I like the adjustment and can see how its very hard for a cat to get loose. I'm still trying to find the perfect hardness. This is just a little too bulky.

Great harness!
My little sister has recently purchased a replacement polite-catten, which I must admit is rather adorable, but less loyal than a dog as said creature seems to seek pets from any human and not just the grabby hands of a 4 year-old. I made the mistake, I'll admit, of buying a medium instead of a small, but the adjustable size makes that not much of a problem at all as it is still good for said juvenile feloid while giving it room to grow. This is a great harness for getting kittens used to the house while not letting them run under the couch to play, or as I like to say, plot your demise away from the human eye, and for keeping kittens away from huge white demons who would likely see aforementioned kitten as a replacement, and therefore, a target. The straps are secure and comfortable and if I weren't an almost fully grown woman and rather a small liquid-solid juvenile cat, I would wish for my human to buy it for me.Amazing product, good kitten, great sister.

Well made harness - but your cat may not like how it feels
Following an eye operation, we had to only allow our 7 year old cat into the garden on a harness for a few weeks. Our first choice was this soft jacket type harness, but unfortunately he was never able to get used to it. He just either lay down, or walked very tentatively and gingerly, and was clearly very unhappy. We had to give up after a few days and try him on the more conventional strap type harness (Trixie 41960 Cat Set of Harness and Lead for Large Cats Nylon). He was immediately much happier in the Trixie - or as 'happy' as any cat who has never worn a harness before can be suffering the indignity of the situation. I wanted to post our experience in case others are in the same situation and wondering what type of harness to get. I was disappointed we couldn't use the Bingpet harness as I think it is very well made - light, strong and well-fitting to cat's anatomy. Velco fasternings were secure enough to prevent escape. I was sorry our cat couldn't cope with the way it felt.
