Really great detangler with safe ingredients. Will continue to use

This review is for Proudly Defining Detangler & Refresher by Gabrielle Union & Dwyane Wade, Black & Brown Babies Coils, Curls & Waves, Detangling & Conditioning Spray, Sweet Vanilla, 6 oz. This product was tried on adult hair, although targeted at children. This detangler has a fairly thick consistency and is milky white in color. The scent is a pleasant, sweet smelling, slightly fruity vanilla scent. The scent did not linger after hair dried. The spray pump worked fine to dispense the detangler in bursts. The product worked okay as a detangler and left the hair soft with some slip/silkiness but also somewhat lifeless and slightly dirty looking. The hair was scrunched while still wet but once dried, there were not defined curls/waves as the bottle said and the hair seemed to straighten on its own. This product seemed to be a detangler with minimal leave-in conditioner properties; the product name does not mention conditioning, but describes it as a "detangler and refresher". It seemed gentle and did not cause irritation to the scalp. It may work differently on other types and textures of hair.

Love this product! My baby never had cradle cap but he did have dandruff. He would also scratch his scalp leaving cuts because it was so itchy: After pairing this with the proudly oil he no longer has dandruff, he doesn’t scratch at all, and his hair smells amazing. Also perfect for styling curls!

It does work for my nieces hair She has fine hair but she swims a lot. She can't use conditioner because it makes her scalp itchy. So I use this for her hair after a shampoo. It make her hair easy to brush and it is really detangling her hair. I use a lot but only for the tip of her hair

Idk. I have been using it for 2 weeks and no real improvement in my son’s hair. Still dry and brittle.Doesn’t define curls and leaves a residue behind after use.

This detangler smells amazing. It is lightweight, doesn't weight the hair down, and makes the hair shiny and soft. It works well on fine hair too.

I couldn’t put my finger on what this smells like. It’s super sweet. At first I thought cotton candy, then I got closer with cake. It finally hit me that this smells exactly like frosting. I’ve never smelt anything more like frosting in my life. The scent can be a bit much, but it’s not bad. It has a nice even spray if you’re not afraid to push firmly on the sprayer. If you don’t then you’ll have a weak and less even amount come out. It adds some moisture to the hair to help detangle it, but too much detangler can lead to some buildup. It works best when my hair is wet but still works dry. I like it.

This detangling spray is really great! It is made specifically for kids, although adults could use it too. It has such a great vanilla scent that smells really good. It detangled my daughter’s hair really well and didn’t make it look greasy. It is also tear-free, hypoallergenic, and pediatrician approved. I love it!
