When I purchased these chop sticks, I was thinking of some semi-disposable but slightly re-usable chopsticks which I could give to friends when they visit. These are much more re-usable than I expected though with a non-porous finish so that they can be washed and rewashed for extended use before mold/mildew will cause them to be unusable, whereas I expect 2-3 uses out of a typical porous wooden chopstick.I like the appearance of these chopsticks; simple and traditional, yet also somewhat elegant. I particularly like the blunted tip of the chopstick, which I find perfect for mashing wasabi into my shoyu (soy for mainlanders), and which gives me a bit better purchase when eating rice than the thin pointed chopsticks, apparently designed for battle, not eating. The solid weight of the wood gives a nice feel in your hand, and they're the perfect size to easily manipulate, while retaining large amounts of food. Despite the non-porous coating, I find I get a good grip on them, and they are not slippery either to my hand, or for the food I am gripping with them. All in all, I am very happy with this purchase.

Great cheap chopsticks. Have been using for the last couple months and they are just really great chopsticks. Good feel and not slippery at all. They look great and are really easy to use. I recommend getting a pack or two of these and I'm sure you won't need anymore for a decade.

These are great chopsticks for every day use and the dishwasher doesn’t have any negative effect on them as we’ve washed them about a dozen times so far. They are a little bit slippery and so I did use a knife to rough up the part that holds onto the sushi. After that, they work really well.

A little big for small hands (women's) but you get used to it. I am handwashing and they are holding up nicely with regard to water. Cheaper than some other offerings.

Nice feel in the hand. They resist staining, and the finish stands up to vigorous hand washing. I wouldn't cook with them, but as tableware, they're great. The design is simple, but elegant. They don't absorb food oils or odors.

Very nice bamboo chopsticks and the cloud motif is beautiful! They can be washed which is so much nicer than the wood chopsticks wrapped in paper that are single use and you have to rub together to remove any splinters - the kind I grew up with!

Perfect size chopsticks for elementary school age kids hands.
