TAKE MY MONEY!!!! 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
This is even better than I had hoped!!My mother has a similar bedside table, but this one even tilts for working in bed; nice!I’m a 50+ y.o. woman, so I’m not very strong. Even so, the package wasn’t too heavy for me to carry from my vehicle (parked directly in front of my door) into my first-floor bedroom.I put it off to the side for a while because I dreaded assembling it, but that worry was unfounded. When I opened it, I found all the parts in order and well packed with protective foam. The printed assembly instructions are clear **when used together with the YouTube video.** I don’t thinkI could’ve done it as easily with only one or the other because both the video and the printed instructions lacked something different that was addressed in the other version. There’s a QR code in the printed directions to scan for the video. You definitely need a Phillips head screwdriver and some sort of tool like a wrench, or, better yet, a ratchet wrench. I couldn’t find my wrench, so I used needle-nose pliers to tighten the bolts. I don’t recommend that because the bolts are still a little loose as I wasn’t patient enough to keep at it. I will have to find the ratchet wrench, but the table works for now.Regarding assembly: I couldn’t get the dust cover button to go in using only my hands. I’m not sure I want to hammer it into place.NOTE: There is one teeny tiny screw with the parts. Don’t lose it. You use this while the desk is in use. The last step of the assembly is to remove the “black transport screw,” which is a lot longer. Don’t lose that, either! The transport screw goes back in before you put the table into the moving van and prevents the table from going up or down while being transported from one place to another.I suggest putting the transport screw into the little baggie that the parts came in, then folding the assembly instructions lengthwise and putting all that in a large plastic baggie, then taping that larger baggie under the side of the large section of table that is farther away from you when you sit in the bed. That way, when you go to move, you’ll be reminded about all that when you feel the baggie under the table, and you won’t have to go looking for the transport screw.I tested them, and the brakes work great on solid flooring. This is really a fantastic little table, but I’m a bit disappointed because mine came from the factory with a few minor scratches. I didn’t see them until the table was assembled since there was thick foam packing material, and when I opened the box, the top of the table was facing down on the carpet. I know the carpet didn’t make those scratches, and the box wasn’t damaged, so my conclusion is that it was packaged that way. However, I don’t feel like taking this back plus waiting for and assembling another one. I’m telling myself that the scratches would occur over time anyway, so just let it go and keep it. Those scratches and not being able to get the dust cap on correctly are the reasons I thought about taking off one star to go from 5 to 4 stars. So, still pretty good. They shouldn’t use or leave so much grease on the support that slides up and down. I understand that moving metal parts need to be lubricated, but it felt like they left a glob of Vaseline on the metal part that rises up. I’m glad I noticed and was able to wipe it off before it got on my clothes or bed covers! That would’ve really upset me.Bottom line: I would buy this again if needed, but I would inspect the table top carefully before assembling it next time, and from now on, I’ll always make sure to inspect any moving parts for grease and oil when assembling or using things for the first time.Update: I’ve had this table for a few months now, and I absolutely love it, so I changed my review from 4 back to 5 stars. The reason is that I don’t even notice the scratches anymore and the table has great functionality.I have carpet in my bedroom, so of course it takes a little effort to move the table smoothly. However, that’s not a problem. I just make sure to hold onto the section that doesn’t tilt while using my foot to move it using the base.I haven’t used it while sitting in bed more than a few times, but it was fine for that. I use it for my medications. I have my MedCenter monthly/daily pill box containers on this table, along with all my prescription bottles. I never receive all my prescriptions on the same day of the month, so I’m always filling up several days’ worth of pill boxes a few times a month. For this reason, it seems easier to keep everything out and within easy reach. When the time comes, I line up my daily pill boxes, open them all up to be filled, and go through my prescription bottles one by one. When done, I put the daily pill boxes in their dated slots and push my prescription bottles to the side of my MedCenter pill organizer. I do this while sitting on or in my bed, so the adjustable height comes in handy depending on what I feel like doing. The table has plenty of room for my MedCenter pill organizer, all my prescription bottles, my mail, and my coffee cup plus a bit more.I wish I could say more about using it tilted while working in the bed, but I just don’t use it that way. I guess I don’t really need the tilt function, but it’s still nice to have.I really can’t say enough positive about this table. I highly recommend it!Final update: I have had this table for a year or more now, and I still love it!!! I have accidentally pushed down on the section that tilts and thus spoiled a lot of things on the floor, but that’s USER ERROR!!! I do like the tilt function just to have.If you ever use your iPad or laptop in bed, something like this or a lap desk with a hard surface is necessary to allow the device to cool. Otherwise, the heat is captured in the bed clothes, and you may end up harming your device or your bed linen.I am having a hard time making up my mind between this and a rolling table that goes all the way across the bed for a different bedroom.

Very handy and easy to use
I’ve been using mine for over a month. My daughter assembled it quickly and said it was easy. I’m mostly bed-ridden, so it has been hugely helpful for supporting my laptop. When I’m not working, I can use it for meals, writing letters, playing games with my kid, etc. I don’t use the tilt option often, but it is occasionally handy. I like that a small section is separate from the tilt tray, and I even attach a clip-on cup holder there. I got the version with a lip, which keeps stuff from falling off. That’s good, but be aware that it may take some adjusting if you are typing on a laptop a lot - I find that my wrists want to rest on it, which isn’t the most comfortable. Still better than having things fall off without a lip in my opinion. It rolls/moves smoothly out of the way when needed and so far the quality is good. My only complaint is that the non-tilt portion of the tray has always been a little wiggly (my dtr couldn’t figure out a way to tighten it). If you are confined to bed a lot, this is a must have tool. Even if you aren’t, it’s handy if you like to read, draw, write or eat in bed. UPDATE: I’ve been using this bed tray daily, and heavily, for almost 3 years now. Other than the castor wheels falling apart over time, the tray is still in good condition. I was worried the lip on the table top would come loose, but it is still solidly in place. Impressive considering I often snag the lip with my fingers to pull the tray back to the bed and there’s usually a lot of stuff on it adding weight to the drag. Despite 2 wheels being broken, it still functions fine… just a bit wobbly when rolled. Once my daughter finds & installs the right replacement wheels, it’ll function like new again. Worthwhile long term investment.

I had to make a few adjustment to one of the pair of course the 2nd one of the two purchased
The Vaunn Medical Adjustable Tilt Overbed Bedside Table offers helpful support for those with limited mobility, but it does have some drawbacks. While the powder-coated steel construction appears durable and the locking swivel casters are a plus for stability, assembly can be a bit tricky. The instructions weren't as clear as they could be, and I encountered some difficulty getting everything aligned correctly.A more significant issue is that I had to shim one of the two tables I purchased to get the tabletop level. This suggests potential inconsistencies in manufacturing and is definitely a quality control concern. The dual-tilt feature and height adjustability (29-41 inches) are still valuable assets, offering flexibility for various needs. The stationary section for drinks and small items is also convenient. However, the assembly challenges and the need to shim for leveling detract from the overall experience. While functional, potential buyers should be aware that some adjustments might be necessary upon assembly. If Vaunn addresses these quality control issues, this table could be a great asset.

MUCH Better than the reviews !
This is great! Arrived in 36hrs. Easily assembled. Study construction. Worked perfectly during my surgical recovery. And NOW.... spray painted the base in gold and used marble peel-n-stick paper on the tops. BEAUTIFUL & FUNCTIONAL - worth the price. Just Re-ordered a second one for my spouse. HINT: super great for the new craze of adjustable beds because the tray table has wheels and height adjustments and will effortlessly slide when bed is upright for tv watch or laptop use but also easily slide back to wall when flat and made up for display.
