FINALLY!!!
I have tried so many transmitters to attempt to connect my hearing aides OR some ear buds to my television to keep from having the whole house being interrupted by my movies lol!!THIS IS FINALLY IT!The sound quality is pretty good, def good enough for me to watch movies. The installation has been horrible for all, even this, until This Time!! I got my optical cable and finally everything just worked today, clicked right into place! Not the hearing aides unfortunately but some awesome ear buds I got.I put the TV volume on 0 and control the volume from my ear buds. It's awesome!! No one even knows my TV is on!They're is ZERO lag for me. Everything matches up Perfectly!!! Every word and every move of their lips, sighs, cluck of the tongue... anything. You need an optical cable to use the transmitter with the TV. They're inexpensive and SO WORTH IT!I highly recommend this Slash-T!!I love itDon't mind my cable mess, I'll fix it tomorrow lol

Surprisingly There Are Many Used For This Rather Simple USB Drive
The Slash-T Bluetooth 5.4 Audio Transmitter proved to be a pleasant surprise given its price point. At first glance, it seems deceptively simple, arriving in a sleek box and resembling a USB drive. However, it stands out as a superior option among aptX HD USB transmitters, an area where good options are limited. Previously, I used a Ugreen adapter, which performed adequately, but the Slash-T dongle clearly outshines it. The Bluetooth chip version significantly influences sound quality, even when using the same codec, as evidenced by my desktop transmitter's superior sound compared to the Ugreen dongle, despite both outputting aptX HD.The Slash-T dongle delivers sound quality on par with my acrylic desktop transmitter. Compared to the Ugreen, the sound is more dynamic and cleaner. Although I prefer the smaller size of the Ugreen dongle, I prioritize sound quality over compactness.A standout feature of this adapter is its optical input, which I haven't encountered before in similar products. However, the box does not include an optical cable, so you need to purchase one separately. While I would have preferred a more compact design over the optical feature, as I don't use that input, it's an interesting addition. The build quality is acceptable, though not exceptional. The package includes a Type-C to USB adapter. Currently, I use the dongle with my Samsung S24 Ultra, as Samsung does not support the higher aptX codecs that some of my headphones use. I sometimes prefer aptX HD over LDAC because it seems to relax the treble, making the music sound smoother to my ears. The adapter should also work with an iPhone using an Apple camera adapter. Overall, I am impressed with the adapter; the aptX HD quality is very good. I ordered it to compare its DAC with my phone's built-in DAC/Bluetooth. While the differences are minor to my ears, it might be more noticeable with different source material or lossless audio. However, the difference was not significant enough to justify the price and the inconvenience of having the dongle hanging off my phone. The Slash-T adapter has various uses, and there are many instructional videos to guide setup with different devices. The setup can be somewhat confusing, involving a sequence of steps and blinking lights, but the videos help. I wanted to pair a Bluetooth speaker with my TV, so I followed the manual's instructions but was unsuccessful initially. After watching the product page video, I succeeded. I had to buy my own optical cable, which cost under $10. I plugged the USB port into my TV, connected the optical cable to the TV and the Slash unit, and then paired it with my Bluetooth speaker by pressing the button on the Slash unit and the Bluetooth button on the speaker. After a few seconds, it connected. It has been working well, and I am pleased to no longer rely on my TV speakers. While the device is somewhat pricey, it functions effectively.

Expensive, sounds worse than using my earbuds alone.
This product may be a good product for some people depending upon its intended use. For me, I was only interested in using it in conjunction with my earbuds or headphones in order to obtain a better sound, at least in theory. It comes with instructions on how to use it. It's not difficult to set-up.I used this with my phone and a pair of earbuds that I own. Unfortunately for me, as soon as I connected this device, I noticed that the volume and sound quality worsened rather than improved. I think this device would be best used with low quality devices that may sound poor and need the aptX adaptive technology. As it turns out, I think the earbuds (soundcore) that I own have better technology and I enjoy using them with their app better than using this device. It's not to say that this device doesn't have its uses for the right person and other hardware, but it just didn't work for me.

This works but the voice delay is too llate.
I connected this to my Samsung OLED TV so I could add Bluetooth speakers. It took a little figuring out to link my speakers to the Bluetooth signal but right away I noticed the voice delay is way off. Lips move but the voice takes too long to process. I see nothing to correct this problem in the directions.

Good Bluetooth Audio Output Option
I have a portable projector that I use and take over friends' houses to watch movies outside. Since I don't have a way to bring a fully wired sound system with me to accompany the projector I needed a way to get the sound to play. This transmitter not only did the trick, it was so easy to set up and the sound quality is really amazing. Now, when its movie time, I just take my projector, this device, my laptop and bluetooth speaker and everyone is ready for a fun movie night.

Great solution
I got this so I can listen to the tv in my bedroom at night while my Wife sleeps. Our TV is a little older but had the necessary usb port for the dongle. It is really a nice option for me to relax at night and not keep the TV loud. I was using subtitles and now i don't have to. We are thinking about getting another one for speakers on an older tv that has its speakers blown.
