Origami Ikebana: Create Lifelike Paper Flower Arrangements (Instructional Videos)

Benjamin's work is definitely something to be admired. I've been interested in making my own origami flowers but couldn't quite figure out how to do the branches. Benjamin's technique is clear and looks to be what I am looking for. His methods do requite some patience and can be time consuming. However, the pay out is worth it in the end.

great book with beautiful projects and instructions that are very easy to follow!

Yes the flowers are lovely but I do not find the book instructions easy or clear. And having the instructions jump forward and backwards pages just makes it all so much more confusing! Page 8 advises to start on page16. I would be completely lost without the video, although that is. Still a problem for me. The video initially seems clearer but he lost me on the book folds - by side 20 of the basic flower form video all you can see is thumbs. Aargh! I was hoping this would be easier

This book is handy for me as origami is a hobby of mine. I collect origami books to help me come up with ideas for gifts for baby showers, bachelorette party, birthdays, grab bags and other gift ideas.

This was part of an overall family gift box and was immediately granted by a daughter!

I purchased this book and tried to use the supplied DVD in my external Mac drive. It was a disaster. It suck, would not eject and has totally ruined the drive, (can not remove the DVD) I really have no recourse at this point other than purchase a new drive for $80. This disc is clearly defective and now I am just stuck, no pun intended. Beware.

Ce livre est très beau. Les conseils sont clairs et les modèles faciles à réaliser. Si vous avez un souci, l'auteur lui-même vous répond rapidement (voir son site Benagami.com). J'avais également acheté Origami Bonsaï mais je trouve que celui-ci est plus complet, il présente plus de techniques. Ces bonsaïs sont tout en papier. L'autre livre propose une technique avec des branches d'arbre.Par contre, la livraison avec Colis Privé pose régulièrement problème. J'ai beau être chez moi et attendre le colis, je n'arrive pas à être livrée. On attend toute la journée (de 8h à 18h) mais les livreurs eux n'ont pas le temps de frapper à la fenêtre ou de klaxonner. S'ils appellent et qu'on rappelle 5 secondes plus tard, c'est trop tard, ils se sont déjà envolés... De plus ce colis est arrivé avec une partie du carton arraché. Heureusement le livre était intact. Jamais de souci avec La Poste par contre.

Enseña técnica para pintar el papel que vas a usar en las flores para los arreglos, lo que no me gustó es que trato de usar términos propios para doblar las flores,cuando ya existen términos generales para el origami. También enseña como hacer solo 1 de los proyectos que están en el libro. Las imágenes de las flores al inicio son muy bellos pero de nada sirve si no hay un paso a paso para elaborar los exactamente. Aparte el autor usa este libro para promover la compra de sus otros libros.

I like the book, the dvd does not work i have not got any reply from the seller after the e mail about the dvd il give 2 stars to the seller

livraison trés rapide, emballage parfait. le livre present des images impressionantes, les instructions sont claires le rapport qualité/prix est satisfaisant. par contre, les modeles se ressemblent assez, pas beaucoup de varieté...le cd qui va avec il faut le décoder, car il est en VOB.
