    Best I've Tried!

These glasses are being used with the Epson 4040 Pro Cinema Series Projector. Having tried the Quantum and XPand branded glasses, these are my go to. So far I have noticed nowhere near the ghosting that I experienced with the other brands. The 3D picture is sharp and the effects pop really well. Pairing was as simple as turning the glasses on, and so far, I've been able to watch several movies on a single charge. The only reason for a 4 star review instead of a five is comfort. I would put them on par with the glasses you get when you go to a movie theater. I have no issues at all wearing them for the longest movies, they just may not be the best for those that have to wear glasses with them. For that, the XPands work pretty well. That being said, from a performance standpoint, these glasses have been the best by far!

Not perfect but better than Epson's glasses

*by I***O on Reviewed in the United States on October 15, 2018*

I have an Epson 5040UB projector that I have always used the Epson brand 3D glasses with when viewing a 3D blu-ray. One of the major problems with the 5040UB and 3D has always been "crosstalk" (e.g. seeing a double image instead of a single, stereoscopic image) at times. Happens with the pricey Epson glasses so I figured there was nothing I could do about it and rarely watched 3D on it.On the advice of someone on a AV enthusiast website (AVSforum), I bought a pair of the ValueView glasses and the most impressive thing so far has been the elimination of crosstalk with 3D. I watched Solo (UK import 3D blu-ray) the other night with the Epson glasses and the significant other complained about the crosstalk and so that was the first movie I checked with these new glasses and I was pleasantly surprised to see no crosstalk (disclaimer: I only watched 5 minutes or so but I remember crosstalk being visiable for much of the movie).Otherwise, here are the + and - of these glasses:Good:- Great performance. No/minimal "crosstalk" that I get even with the Epson 3D glasses. This makes a world of difference in enjoyment.- Cheap (a pair of glasses is less than a single Epson 3D glass.- Available (I don't think Epson makes their glasses anymore).- Comfortable. The Epson's are reasonably comfortable but these are a little better. There is a soft nose piece that makes it easy on the nose. They are also lightweight (unlike the horrid PS3 3D glasses that I tried before) which helps.- Fits over glasses better than the Epsons. Of course, YMMV.- Arms fold. Yes, some glasses have non-folding arms which makes it a pain to store. Not Good:- Uses some sort of super micro USB jack to charge (smaller than MicroUSB), which I've never seen/had before, and so need to make sure I don't misplace it.- No USB wall wart included. I have others laying around so I was okay.- No on/off switch. I guess it turns off by itself but I've found other glasses that do this oftentimes have battery issues if they turn don't turn off when they should, or turn on accidentally without a 3D source being played. Also possible is having the glasses turn off while viewing a movie. Will have to see if this is an issue, although other reviews have not noted this (from the few reviews here that I read). Still, always nice to have a on/off switch like the Epson glasses.- No always on LED indicator light. The Epsons have a green LED light that turns on when it's powered on, these do not (the instructions state it is for battery conserving reasons). Would have liked to have one though that stays on so you have a clear indicator of when it is powered on (especially since it does not have an on/off switch).- Some bug makes the glasses show 75% battery full when it's fully charged. I've read that on another review so apparently it's a bug of some sort.Overall:Due to its performance (no or almost no crosstalk compared with Epson's own glasses) and overall comfort and price point, I rated these 5/5 stars since the shortcomings are mostly minor things (will see about the lack of an on/off switch affecting battery life though).

Only charge to 75% out of the box

*by J***E on Reviewed in the United States on November 22, 2017*

While these work for 3D, I have tried to charge them twice now and they will not show more than a 75% charge. This leaves me wondering if the rechargeable batteries will last for very many recharges and how well they will hold the charge. When they sync with the projector, it shows charge remaining.Update: These still do not charge beyond 75% and I have had to recharge them 3 times so far. I can't even trust them to last through a third movie without recharging them. Very disappointing.
