I bought this base to crochet a Moses basket/bassinet with and it was perfect!! The holes were a great size - I didn’t have to fight to pull the yarn through. I used 5mm cotton macrame cord with an 8mm crochet hook. I also added a few extra stitches to my second row to prevent the sides from caving in. I will definitely be purchasing this same base once the muscles in my hands recover from this basket!!

This board was exactly what I was looking for. It was sturdy and not too thick. It was so smooth and made a great base for the moses basket I made with it. The bassinet pad fit perfectly.

Perfect wood base for crocheting a Moses bassinet. The hole placement makes it easier to use a 9mm cording. Both top and bottom are the same which I absolutely love. I hate it when I purchase a wood base and one side has that gross rough feeling. This is smooth to the touch and would be perfect for staining as well.

Bought to make a basket for a friends baby shower. Great for crafters although basket has taken me longer to make than anticipated, but product was great.

This is a very nice quality basket bottom. It is nice and smooth and can be stained, painted, clear coated, or finished with beeswax paste. I make pine needle baskets and I am planning to use this basket bottom as a big time saver for making a large pine needle basket. I will update with progress pictures.
