I have 3 of these, with a different size baskets for 14, 18, and 22g doses. I use this for my 22g dose since I prefer a bigger latte. it works great.

Great bottomless filter for my Gaggia Classic!
Let me just preface that I'm not a coffee snob by any means (other than owning an espresso machine I suppose), so I can't explain why having a bottomless portafilter triple the price of this product is necessary at all. This portafilter worked great in my Gaggia Classic Pro!If you don't know, the purpose of a bottomless portafilter is to show visually how good your technique is. For example, if you see little spurts of espresso coming off the bottom of it, this indicates you're having issues with channeling. It also has the added benefit of looking appealing when you're pulling shots. It's really pretty when you get a good flow going. I attached a photo of this with my machine, but the photo got a little blurry from the reflective surfaces.Overall, this is a great bottomless portafilter! The included double-shot basket is a bonus as well! I highly recommend this product!
