Great after a quick mod.
Great value. Easy to install. Very durable. It originally did not work great with my 10 speed chain, ( the chain would not fall in place) but after removing and flipping the smaller gear so that it flares towards the big gear instead of away. It works great!

Good power transfer through the crankset
Purchased this to simplify the gearing on an old touring setup (Lotus Odyssey ~'86). I've been impressed with the crankset's stiff, rigid feel. I paired it with a Shimano BB-UN55 bottom bracket (68x110) and get a smooth ride with that setup.Pros:+ Affordable. It's been well worth the money for me.+ Stiff. Good power transfer through the crankset.+ Simple, sleek designCons:- Picture/Description may be misleading. My 34t ring is silver (not black), and the package was missing a chain bolt.- Prone to scratches and scuffsConclusion:Not the best crankset, but it's well worth the price. It does exactly what I need it to do and while it may end up worn down sooner than other cranks out there, it's cheap enough that I don't mind replacing it. So far, however, it's performing well.

Met or exceeded my expectations
The crankset met or exceeded my expectations in appearance, weight, and quality. This replaced a standard double on my road bike, because I wanted better climbing gears, and it's LESS heavy than my former crankset. You wouldn't call it "light weight" at a couple of pounds, but for a steel crankset at this price point it is light. It's a pretty big jump from 34 teeth to 50 - further for the chain to climb when shifting up. After adjusting my derailleur (don't forget to lower it from a Standard double!) I am very happy with the shifting. I also replaced the cables and shifter housing (why not) and of course that helped, but shifting works better than ever for me. It should not be a concern.Mine did come with all of the pieces, everything fit like it's supposed to, and installing it was a painless, uneventful 20 minutes. I recommend as a budget crankset.

Recieved the 50t Crankset
I'm giving this product three stars because it is a fairly decent crankset for the price. I bought this for my commuter bike to replace an old slightly bent triple ring set up that had 46 t on the big chain ring. As where I live is completely flat, I wanted a bigger gear ratio and this was one of the only 53t I could find. Problem is I didn't receive the 53t. I received the 50t/34t. The product description didn't out right say, but in the Q&A other buyers said they received the 53t. If you search Vuelta Corsa Comp Crankset, you will see the one I received with the silver inner chainring. Anyway, it was going on my commuter so I just installed it rather than waiting on an exchange. Otherwise I would probably give five stars.

decent crankset for an afordable price.
Great. Looks fine on my silver bike, and it fits. I've used it for about a month by now, with no problem.

great upgrade from stock square taper crankset
I've got a 1996 mountain bike with three chainrings on the crankset, but I only ever use the largest ring because I only ride for exercise on paved roads. Original equipment was 42/32/20 triple chain ring, upgrade to this larger chain ring, square taper crankset was easy to install (you'll need the Oumer's crank arm puller tool) and works fine, but I did have to re-position the front derailleur to accommodate the larger chainring.

Missing Parts
The left crank arm and the crank bolts were missing from the package.Had and extra arm and bolts and crank is working fine. What can you expect for $35. It was worth keeping than going through the hassle of returning it, andAmazon does not not have a general purpose complaint form for its products. That really sucks!

Great price, low quality
I needed a new big ring for another crankset, so I thought, what the heck, I'll buy this for short money, keep the big ring, and recycle the rest. It didn't work out. But that's on me.Both chain rings are constructed from low grade heavy stamped steel. So are the crank arms (although they are probably cast). I'd categorize the whole setup as below "low budget".That being said, if you need a super cheap square taper crankset, and you don't care about weight or high quality, these just might be the ticket.
