We have a Jack Russell Terrier. A JRT is a Destroyer of Worlds.Traditional baskets, wooden baskets, soft baskets: all succumb to The Terrier Teeth.But this basket is different. Made of hard plastic, it was adorned with teeth marks very quickly, but it's too hard to be destroyed. Lined with blankets it's a perfect terrier bed.We bought the 61.5 cm version for our dog and this is a good size for him to stretch out in.

This basket is great value. I haven't rated comfort as it's just the plastic basket which I had a padded cushion for. I love the fact that the internal dimensions are given as well as the outer because I ordered one from another seller which only gave external dimensions and it shaped in so much that the actual sleeping area was TINY. It's big enough for my (big 6kg) cat and my miniature Yorkshire Terrier to fit in together as they like to sleep snuggled up to each other

Dog Baskets have been a bit of a hit or miss with my two beagles the last few years , the best quality plastic one i bought 10yrs ago and presently is placed in their kennel in their dog run. i was close to bringing it in but chose to yet again dive into the dog bed market. I have bought a few dog beds off amazon all of the plastic variety and have found either the quality to be poor, cracked floors etc or the sizes not accurate. First things the quality of the plastic on this basket is of a high standard. The floor, always a bugbear of mine, is reinforced with a honeycomb of plastic. The legs have rubber feet. I bought the X-Large as i wanted a lot of real estate for my two beagles to lie out fully and i am not disappointed. This basket is huge and will easily accommodate two sociable dogs, in this case ideal for two beagles. This basket easily gets 5 stars, best basket buy for me yet.

Very good quality. We've had ours well over a year now. First impressions were it looks smart, easy to clean, light weight. I was concerned the base would crack, it would slip on hard flooring, it didn't appear to be as hard wearing looking as the ones that my grandparents had for their dogs a long time ago. I needn't had worried- it's as it was when I bought it, easy to wipe clean, doesn't slip around when the dog runs and jumps in it, protects the dogs from drafts and they like it. My only issue is finding oval soft dog beds that are waterproof to go in it. Found one on eBay which fits great but now I need a replacement cover.

I have always used plastic dog beds - throw in a cushion and topped off with some vet bedding. Comfy but easy to keep clean.I have a few dogs. The latest pup managed to break pieces off the last plastic bed. It meant the edge of the bed was sharp and unuseable.I checked my other beds and one of them is a Ferplast. Although chewed on the edges, nothing broke off. I have this bed over 10 years.The Ferplast bed is light. My dogs are small/medium and the heaviest weighs 13kg. Not sure how a bigger dog would do but when you add substantial bedding that makes the bed more robust.

I have had a similar dog bed in the past. I like the durability, that it was chew proof and easy to clean. This fits the bill perfectly for my English Springer Spaniel puppy and (compared to similar items) is very good value. I am lining it with old towels/blankets for comfort. I was delighted to find that it fits nicely inside my dog's cage, making a lovely den.

We’ve not had this long so cannot comment on longevity but this combined with the made to measure cushion has settled our Lab puppy to sleep very contentedly. Combined they are an expensive purchase but already them seem to be worth the money. We went for size 10 for our 7 month old Lab which gives him plenty of room plus some space to grow. Think they find the high sides and the ability to rest a chin on the edges comforting, he did that immediately.

Fantastic bed bought for my bulldog puppy and she loves it . its lightweight but sturdy , easy to clean and a great colour . 5 stars from us
