I am literally blown away! There was nothing wrong with my factory Apple Pencil. I bought it new many years ago with my Generation 7 iPad. I do a lot of digital art and coloring and my tips have worn out after many, many years of use. I came across this Stylus aftermarket Apple Pencil for only $9.99 and it came with 4 new tips, not including the one on the pencil. After reading the reviews, I couldn’t help but buy it. It was cheaper than buying just the Factory Apple Tips and I was curious to see how this $10 Stylus Pencil measured up to the factory Apple Pencil that I paid a fortune for many years ago.I received it the next day and opened it up immediately. The first thing I noticed was it looked identical to my white factory Apple Pencil, but just a tiny bit shorter by only 1/4 of an inch. It was extremely light weight and felt very comfortable in my hand. I double tapped the very top of it to turn it on and it lit right up, but I wanted to charge it properly first to make sure all three blue lights were lit. It charged really quick just like my factory Apple Pencil and it responded immediately to my iPad! I found its performance much quicker than my factory Apple Pencil. I couldn’t even believe my eyes!! There was absolutely no difference in the feeling between my Apple Pencil and this Stylus pencil, but the stylist pencil performed better and quicker, and felt more comfortable in my hand!Here is the real banger that impressed me! Because I needed tips for my factory Apple Pencil, I was curious to see if these tips would work on it. I put one on and sure enough it fit like a glove and it worked beautifully! I feel like I got the deal of a lifetime, extra tips for my factory Apple Pencil and a brand new Stylus Pencil that works better than my Apple!!!Just a little FYI. After a few minutes, my new Stylus pencil stopped working. I was so excited initially I failed to read the directions. If you’re currently using a factory Apple Pencil or any other Bluetooth pencil, make sure you go to your Blue Tooth settings and click “forget this device”. After I did that, the pencil started working beautifully again. The Stylus pencil does not run on Bluetooth, but it will have interference if you don’t remove your previous pencils. I guess it can only recognize one at a time, even though this isn’t a Bluetooth device. Anyway, I’m the happiest person ever!! If that sale is still going on, I’m going to buy more! The pen is compatible with my iPad 10. Plug and play. Did not require complex setup. Connected to device quickly. Fits in my iPad case. Great value for price. Magnetic. Same size as a #2 pencil.

Loved this when I first got it. Didn't want to spend a ton on an Apple pencil since I am just starting to use my iPad to draw. It was working well wether I was playing games or drawing in Procreate. The write to type feature has been finicky, but I don't know if that is the pencil or the iPad problem.Unfortunately now it has started losing battery faster. When I first got it, I rarely charged it (maybe every 2 weeks with limited use). Now, it dies and must be charged weekly. I'm pretty positive I've been turning it off every night when I stop using it, but it is still dieing faster than previously. This makes me nervous for its future battery life.

I’m just starting to use this pencil with my new iPad, so I’m just on the beginning of my learning curve. I liked that it functions just like the Apple Pencil, but at a fraction of the cost. I’ve tried a few basic notes using my handwriting and need to figure out what I need to do to go from handwriting to text as I don’t have the best handwriting for others to read (ha ha). I know there is a lot more this pencil can do so I’m excited to start learning. The pencil is light and comfortable to use and flows over the iPad screen easily. It’s easy to turn on and off with a double tab on the “eraser” end. So far the charge is holding up for a while, but I haven’t done anything extensive yet. Note that you have to charge using a USB-C cord, but those are all over the place in my house. You just need to be careful of the charging port cover as it can easily be lost since it’s not attached and is a very small part. I keep a small “parts” zip lock type bag in the pocket of my iPad case so I can store it there when I’m charging my pencil so it doesn’t get lost. So far I’m very pleased with this purchase and am looking to purchase another so I can give one to my father, he’s still using a stylus style pen on his iPad and think he would really enjoy the Pencil a lot more!

It does exactly what it’s supposed to do however the charge doesn’t last as long as they said it does. I de experience some skipping when drawing but that might be an issue with my settings
