love it!
Ok fill disclosure: I did a dry brush coat of beige paint on this fireplace because the gray was just a tad too dark for our recently finished basement. That being said, the original color is really pretty! It’s just a dark, kinda shiny grey which didn’t work for us.The fireplace insert is one of the most realistic I’ve seen and I say this as someone who has many of these things in our house lol. Most are pretty cheesy/chintzy but this one is great quality. Regardless, they’re a nice and safe alternative to the real thing.Assembly was…not too bad. Great instructions and everything is well-labeled but the portion of the fireplace that houses the insert is HEAVY. It would be best to have two people based on that. As always, DO NOT tighten the screws until the entire thing is assembled. I’ve assembled countless pieces and know this is the golden rule, but it’s SO IMPORTANT with this fireplace. You will likely feel at some point that the pieces don’t line up, but just keep the faith and don’t be afraid to manipulate the insert housing—it’s strong and sturdy enough to take it.In short, I HIGHLY recommend this electric fireplace. It’s great quality, gives off very good heat (MUCH more so than our 3 other electric fireplaces) and is VERY pretty to look at. Real wood mantle and base!

Great heat and nice size
Infared heat is warm and actually heats my living room unlike the electric fireplace I bought last year that has a magnesium heating element and blower. I wasn't sure I made a good decision when I pulled it from the box to assemble, but once it was together it looks really nice. Dual color flame is nice and gives a more realistic look. I like the mantle wood color, and the grey stone actually goes well with the oak trim in my living room. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because there is a quarter size damage to a side panel piece. Looks to be made of plaster so I think I can repair it and match the color of the faux stone. Look for the $75 coupon. That was the deciding factor for me. And it arrived quickly. Putting together wasn't bad but definitely keep the screws a little loose until it's assembled because you will have to push pieces together to line up the panels. FYI the fire insert is not DuraFlame as the remote displays in the pictures.
