My grandson wants to take the Archery merit badge, so I grabbed this set to allow him to get some practice.As others have mentioned, this is a basic set. I would not take it small game hunting. But it has everything you need to familiarize yourself with archery.If your youngun wants to try his / her hand at archery, this set will fill the bill.

This is a great bow for a beginner or someone who wants a “survival” type bow to throw in a bug out bag etc. it has everything you need to start practicing then you can upgrade to broadheads etc for hunting after your comfortable you can hit your target and make a clean kill.

This is actually a pretty cool recurve bow. It is very simple to assemble, and only takes a couple minutes or so to be ready to shoot. Great for target practice, and even possibly hunting.The bow itself looks great, pretty plain And simple, but still pretty cool. It only comes with a single pin sight, but that can be upgraded at any time. as well as any other parts, and accessories you wish. Very easy to upgrade several pieces, plenty of accessories/add-ons available. A lot of fun, very easy to set up, and use, plus it comes with everything. Great product, great price, highly recommended.

For a beginners kit there is very little instruction or information. The assembly instructions are incomplete. The bow is basic but decent. The arrows are poorly constructed with the knocks misaligned. Two of the arrows I received are usable. There are 5 paper targets included but are a bit small for archery.

This is a decent starter bow. The instructions that came with it were for another similar bow though there were some differences. Overall it's a good buy.

Got this as a spare bow for my 12 year old. We have a cabin and I'd keep forgetting to bring his bow with us.This one just stays up there. He assembled himself (the directions were terrible, by the way, but you can look at the pictures from the ad and figure it out). It is a good draw weight for him. He said he likes it more than his more expensive, smaller wooden recurve. Good find!. The arrows are a good length and reasonable quality for practise arrows.
