I have a pair of Costa Del Mar sunglasses that had a chipped lense for over a year. For some reason I didn't think it could be replaced so I basically stopped wearing them. I found these and figured I would give them a try. I am glad I did because installation was easy and these lenses are just like the ones I replaced.

I love these new lenses, however i was looking for the same color lens that the original costa cat cay came with. These replacements are almost identical on the exterior but the color you see when wearing them is more of a yellowish tint.....in the last picture i posted you can see the new replacement lens on the right and the old, less yellow and more clear/bluish one on the left. Fairly easy to install, one tool a little more force than the other....make sure you do this with clean hands and use a qtip with dish soap and warm water to clean the inside of the lens frame where the new lens will sit in place.

Thank the heavens I found this. I managed to secure his fav glasses after he forgot them but when I handed it back to him, I dropped them on marble tile, busting one lens. But now I’m a total hero. Granted, it took two medical professionals to watch the YouTube videos on how to remove the old ones before using a make-shift hammer to commit to the mission and push it out like a G. My thumb was sore from following said “easy/simple” directions, so just go all in and bust that pookey out bc these fit perfectly and are far lighter than the originals which is whatever for quality but you get what you get.

Very impressed with the quality and fitment of these lenses. I wasn’t expecting them to be near as good as they actually are. I can’t tell the difference between the original Costa lenses and these. Even if they last a year they’re a great deal. I’m hard on my sunglasses as I am in construction so I will try and report back regarding durability.

I originally purchased the wrong size and the seller instantly contacted me personally. Had me send them a pic of my Costas and sent me a replacement before I even sent my recent order (wrong order...my fault) back to them. Then I got the lens and wow! Much better than I expected!! I have had them all summer and no scratches...great lens!! I would buy them again and I recommended my son to do the same for his old Costas!!!
