I know it's been said many times but absolutely nothing sticks to them. I had a cookie sheet with this mat on it sitting on top of the stove and I turned on the wrong eye and didn't catch it for a couple of minutes. The mat did discolor in one spot and the spot will not come out. However, it did not change the function of the mat at all and nothing sticks to that spot so it is merely a cosmetic issue. The only negative I have at all is that it does make some of my cookies spread too much but they are still well worth the price. I did put them on cookie sheets and heat them in the stove before using them and they do give off a chemical smell but after that initial time they have not smelled since. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Silicone Baking Mats *by Z***H on Reviewed in the United States on November 17, 2013* Silicone mats are great for baking. I used the heck out of these for a couple years until they started falling apart and pieces of the coating embedded in my baked goods. The material in the middle of the mat looks like asbestos but if any of the layers were truly toxic I'd be dead by now. I have since bought Wilton baking mats which looks to be homogeneous throughout and not comprised of layers, as this is. I have used the heck out of the Wilton baking mats and they are holding up well. I recommend Wilton. All silicone bakeware discolors pretty quickly -- get used to it -- but food does not stick and the mats have many baking uses. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Did what I expected for less the cost than the Silpat *by C***7 on Reviewed in the United States on December 6, 2011* I baked florentine lace cookies which are very sticky and easily burned and this item did a great job. Its less expensive than the Silpat and did just as good a job. The directions did say to place on pan with the lettering up, and there is none so that is something very little, and mentioned before that is true. I have no cons about the product I have only used it a few times and nothing to complain about.
