For a toy, this is very realistic because it has magazines you load the toy rounds into, the magazines go into the magwell, there is a mag release button, the slide can be pulled back, there is a slide lock, once all rounds are fired the slide will lock itself back, and the toy will fire little orange toy pieces while ejecting the toy casings. One con, is that while the toy functions great and has a lot of features most toy guns do not, is that the little orange toy pieces you shoot are incredibly easy to lose, they just bounce around everywhere and may get stuck behind or underneath furniture. Overall, this is a very good toy and it has a lot of features most toy guns would not.

Bought as gift. Toy looks cool and the concept is cool but functionality is really lacking in the internal mechanisms. Some of the plastic shells do not eject properly and jam easily so removing pieces occurs every time this is used. One can practice gun safety with this toy.

Gun broke and we haven't had it but 2 weeks. Such a shame.

The targets that come with it could be bigger. The loading process could be smoother. This isn't for teaching...the most i would teach someone with this toy is trigger discipline and maybe drawing. Loading the bullets is a pain, having to pick up a shell and an orange tip is annoying. The only fun thing is when you dont have the mag in it, you can dry fire on repeat. Other than that i wouldnt buy this for anyone.
