The pinecones are edible!
This was a very delicious syrup with notes of pine. What was unexpected was the little pine cones inside, not only are they edible, the texture is soft! They’re slightly bitter on their own, but with the syrup it’s perfect.

This is a really good product. Incredible taste. Also really appreciate how safely the company packs the glass bottle & uses mostly sustainable packaging materials. Which more companies packed their products so securely.

delicious pine syrup!
exactly the way it should be! tender cones in a crimson syrup with the delicate flavor of pine. great on ricotta cheese, plain yogurt, in coffee, or on thin pancakes. Samsonov ships quickly and packages everything well.

Disappointing
Thought it would be more pine-y tasting. Just tastes like a sort of bitter syrup. Can't imagine what you might use it for.

Good flavor, but not quite as “pine-y” as I expected
Love this company and their candied pine cones. Actually, that’s what made me want to buy the syrup. Big plus, it came in pretty much bomb-proof packaging so it didn’t crack or leak. Only negative is I was expecting more of the “pine” flavor infused in the syrup, but it tasted more like a simple syrup. Don’t get me wrong…it’s delicious, but if you were looking for something as pine-y as their candy, you might be a little let down.
