Superb quality, design and function.
Great little phone mount - fitted in to my fathers Toyota Aygo (which has nowhere to fit a vent mount) and looks like an original feature, allow the adhesive to cure for 24hrs before use and it's extremely secure. Solid metal with machined bevels, if you want to you can remove the front plate when not in use and only have the little metal ball visible. I was concerned the base would be clunky but it actually looks great and gives a greater surface area for the adhesive.Comes in a nice presentation box ideal for a gift, two self adhesive magnetic plates for phone and two replcement adhesive pads for the base if you need to move it in the future. Plates can be stuck to the phone or case, it's even possible to sandwich between the two but this reduces the magnetism. I just have a cheap silicone case from the pound shop with the plate on it and swap out the phone when in the vehicle. Additional plates are readily available for a couple of pounds.To summarize: Fantastic quality, beautifully finished and does its job admirably. Bought with my own money, I have not been 'compensated' for this review.

A wonderful, little metal ball of joy
After a recommendation to get one of these (magnetic car holders), am impressed by it's holding capacity as I have a very large phone (Phablet), which it manages to hold, even behind the thickness of my phone case.It looks the part, is solid metal, small and discreet and this variety with it's slightly different shape has a particular aesthetics to it that I took a liking to.Instructions mention to adhere this item to car and leave for 24 hours, the adhesive pad therefore doesn't seem the best performer that they could have used. There were a few reviews by others about this and the inclusion of extra sticky pads seem to fortify this.It also won't play well with curved dashboards and, IIRC, they don't suggest adhering it to textured ones at that (which most cars have?).In typical glorious fashion, I adhered it cold and applied my phone straight away and while it just about "held", the magnatisim was better than the adhesive pad. A day later and a bit of sunshine heat, it had a much better hold but the curve of my dash would suggest I need to carefully remove my phone, or risk slowly pivoting it off the dash in time.update:While it went great for some time, when the summer heat came this little bugger decided to pop off. Still a fan of magnetic mounts, and opted for a CD slot mounted phone holder which will depend on your car /CD slot (my car at the time fortunately had a sold slot, my current car not so much)

Good car mount
I compared a quite a lot mounts on the internet with similar designs, I believe most of them looking similar are from the same OEM factory yet they have different prices and branding.This one is different and looks good from the images.The mount feels solid in hand and has a smooth finish which looks very well made.When mounted on the car, it has a very small footprint and low profile. When not in use it won't bother me nor draw my attention.When the phone mounted onto it, however, because of the extra space introduced by the phone cover, the magnetic field weakens, then phone can rotate to an extend. In real use, this is no big deal when it's only several degrees.

Great
This is great- it did keep falling off when I first stuck it on due to the incredible summer heat. Now it’s set it stays put- even though it still has the original sticky pad. Don’t be a dur brain like everyone else and pull the phone away from it- of course that will weaken the sticky pad- just slide the phone off sideways. Easy.

Great product
I'm very happy with this product. Built quality is very good. It holds very good so far on flat surface. I really like minimalistic design and ability to turn it in every direction or angle.

Strong and neat
Bought this for my friend as she needed somewhere to put her phone when using the map facility. It was so neat & held her phone in place like glue whilst she needed it to. I liked it so much I got one just to keep my phone in place whilst driving rather than throwing into its usual place...in the door! I also like that once placed on the magnet you can stillmove the phone to get the best view of you need to.

Would not recomend this magnetic phone holder.
Ok I bought this back in may 2018 and thought what a great purchase but I was sadly disappointed that during the summer of 2018 this device kept on falling of the dashboard as the m3 sticky pads seemed to melt in the heat. The residue this left behind was a nightmare to clean of the dashboard, I purchased more m3 sticky pads and still had the same issue. Also the phone holder is so heavy and that don’t help with keeping it stuck on the dashboard. Would I buy again mmmm no I think not,would I recommend this well no I would not.

Well made but the adhesive tape just isn't
Seems well made and the magnet holds really strong. The trouble is the adhesive just isn't good. Cold weather probably doesn't help, but after prepping, cleaning and drying thoroughly it just does not stick. Not to the dashboard, not to the featherweight GPS speedometer it was to hold.The sticky bits can be peeled off and replaced. Some really good double-sided foam tape works great. On the main ball part of the holder the tape covers a screw holding the base to the ball. Replaced this with a longer screw drilled through the dash panel for permanent attachment.Now it works exactly as it should, but I'd recommend getting some decent double-sided tape if you're buying this.
