Good material
The material is pretty good at long calf and ankle area , but a lot thinner in the thigh area. I wore these for a few hours they were hot but comfortable. I'm not sure if they will stop a snake bite and kinda hope I don't find out. I feel better with them than without.

Well they work alright
Literally my first night of wearing them for work, I ran straight thru cactus and stumbled upon a nice lil 3ft rattler. Gave my ankle a nice lil peck and I was so shocked I didn’t even move. Luckily I had these bad bois on. I hear baby rattlers are worse because they can’t dose their venom appropriately. They fit okay but I wish they went a little higher on the thighs.

They fit well!
These leg guards seem to be adequate for the task at first glance. I work in maintenance at a facility out in the holler and have had multiple encounters with rattlers, copperheads, and cottonmouths. Since animal control takes to long to get here and work stops for no snake I decided to take a step towards keeping myself and coworkers safe by becoming the designated snake catcher. Hopefully these will be worth the investment. More to come…

Great for snake season

Small improvement needed
We bought these and the fit was good and they were comfortable. The only complaint which is quite annoying, is the fact that the top straps have a plastic piece that slides around to keep them in place, but as you move around it comes undone and there are other manufacturers that use clips so that doesn't happen.
