Marine Biodegradable Descaler (4, Gallon Bottle)

Works awesome on flushing out my outboard engine. I mixed it 50-50 with water and ran it through my engine using a pump and I got rid of all the deposits inside the engine cooling system. It also worked great on cleaning my glass shower door to remove the water spots.

Descaled 2 diesel engines and the hvac raw water circulation system on our boat. Rydlyme removed huge amounts of scale and salt water build up. Engine raw water cooling passages are now free of obstruction and flow sea water more freely. Just as good as taking the equipment off the boat and taking it to be dipped and boiled without all that labor. We circulated Rydlyme through each system for 4 hours each. The flow rate of Rydlyme through each system was vastly better at the end of the 4 hours compared to the beginning.

this is an amazing product it cleaned my outboards out of the residue from salt and scale.

I have a 2009 200hp outboard, purchased new, and it has been used exclusively in salt water all this time. It gets flushed once at the end of the season. Flushing every time we used the boat wasn't an option. After 14 years of use, I noticed that it was running hot at lower RPM's, and replacing the impeller made zero difference. I tried products like saltaway with very little success.I purchased a case of Rydlyme and poured it along with 4 gallons of water into a large plastic tub under the engine. I took my small pool cover pump and set it in the tub, and attached it to the flush port. With the engine off, I let it run for four hours, and couldn't believe how dirty the Rydlyme mixture got.Bottom line - this made a huge difference and cured my temperature issue. Running engine temp at 1200 RPM was around 195-200 degrees prior to treatment, and now it's running at 150, like it used to when new.It would have been five stars if buying a case of the stuff wasn't so expensive.

I tried muratic acid which didn't work and it had to be neutralized which took a lot of baking soda. Rydlyme took the deposits out of my outboard cooling system and now my overheating problem is a thing of the past. Several people marked it down because of high price which it is a little pricy but compared to the $2000.00 I paid to mechanics who couldn't fix the problem it's a bargain. I'll be using Rydlyme regularly from now on.
