We do recommend however that after five years you replace the device with a new one. If you contact us (details on the Firepal website) we can arrange for your existing device to be re-cycled and provide you with a discount code for a new one. **Q: is it a one go item that needs replacing after use** A: Yes, the Firepal FP50 is disposable and will discharge fully (8 - 10 seconds) when activated. The FP50 is not pressurised, the aerosol extinguishing gas is created only when the device is activated, so it does not require servicing like traditional pressurised fire extinguishing casings do. It also means the size, weight and efficiency of the FP50 can be optimised - the FP50 is a very compact and very effective extinguisher using the latest in fire extinguishing technology.
