Nice camera--need a user's manual to know how to use it for best results.
I purchased this camera because it was very similar to a Canon Powershot that served me well for decades. However, this camera had different features and without a manual to accompany it, I did not know how to set it up and use it. I called Amazon but the person who answered had such a strong accent I couldn't understand what he was saying. I received a manual that helped me use my former camera, but there was none in this package and there was a lot of other things I didn't need. So I sent it back and still don't have a camera!! Also I saw it was refurbished. I would prefer a new camera not knowing how long a refurbished camera would last.

Sadly it does not work
I was pretty excited to buy my first digital camera, specially this one since it has great reviews online. My trip was coming up so I decided to get before that and take it with me. I am a little disappointed with this camera since I received it damaged, no flash and no pictures. I do not even understand how this happened, it does not even take pictures when you click the button, it takes 1 picture every like 30 minutes and then it doesn’t. The few pictures I managed to take were without flash because when activating the flash option it doesn’t take pictures at all, I always get like a exclamation mark on the screen. On top of that, the battery… it turns on for a couple minutes before shutting off and asking to charge the battery. Overall, not a good experience with this one :(
