Pain Relief at Last
I had Morton’s Neuroma surgery in 2021. Six months prior I had every conservative treatment there was including cortisone injections twice. I was not aware that the cortisone can destroy the fat pad on the bottom of your foot which it did the size of a quarter making it feel like was walking on a marble or the bone which I was. I have tried so many inserts, metatarsal pads etc and pain creams with little relief. December of 24 the pain got unbearable and I was sent to ortho foot and ankle doctor. After simple X-ray he says I know what is wrong. The 2nd and 3rd metarsals are too long so the weigh of every step is coming down on those two bones instead of bein*bdispersed across the ball of your foot. Yes surgery to shorten the 2 bones. After the swelling went down the marble pain still there where fat pad gone at 4th metatarsal. Tried multiple pads, various expensive shoes and pain creams with very limited relief. Tried various slides but sent them back. After reading many reviews I ordered the Goosecret sandal which passed the first test—standing it upright on its toes and pushing to make sure it did not bend. It needs to be stiff. It has a cup for your heel and a good arch support for someone like me with flat feet. The greatest part was the raised area that fit at the base of your toes. It is spongy soft with enough support to take the pressure off where there is no fat pad. I can walk with no extra pads. I still use pain cream out of habit I think. I like the fact the sandal is adjustable as I still have some surgery swelling periodically. The bottom of the sandal seems more stable than just a regular slide. I have this terrible fear of falling. Thanks for making these sandals. I just ordered another color.

Super cute
These are really cute. Straps are adjustable. They will stretch a tiny bit if they’re too tight. Easy to clean. Didn’t have a strong odor. They do get squeaky when your feet get a bit sweaty or when wet. They’re super easy to clean. Since they are a platform they are a little stiff, I do end up walking a little different since they don’t bend. But overall they’re comfy & I was able to be in them all day.I bought a size 6 but when I peeled off the size sticker it said 5 under. If you’re in between sizes, like 6.5, I’d go up instead of down. Better a little loose than too tight

WIDE TOE BED & Great name brand alternative
I’ve worn Birkenstocks for YEARS and these are great alternative…with much more cushion & fully waterproof material. They have a very similar cut to Birks but slightly thinner strapes & more of a platform sole. They don't necessarily have the exact same high end look since they are not leather looking, but I love them for both quick trips to the mailbox when I’m wearing socks or casual daytime outfits. For the cost, I’m very impressed & would recommend to both those who love their Birkenstocks or those who want a more economical alternative. With the new trend of WIDE toe box shoes, sometimes you might hear that Birkenstocks aren’t good for those who want a wide toe. These are wider at the toe for those would are concerned with that.

fits and good arch support. I love it so far
it is a good true to size fit with arch support 1.5+ inch platform above the ground level that I need to feel comfortable and soft but not too soft. and I like the fact that it can be worn by water (pool, beach, garden...) it is very light and I love that it is NOT making any noise like others . however, aesthetically is not as Ibeautiful as the other styles I had it mind, but I wanted to avoid blisters on toes if you have a long walk by the beach. I gave it 4 star because I think they should have added some bumpy circles on the heel and some other areas, so it does not slide from your feet if it is wet.

I'm ditching my Birkenstocks for these!
I've owned a pair of Birkenstocks (both leather and EVA) for years. None are as comfortable as these are, and here's why: The toe ridge. No matter how I adjusted the straps, got a wider platform, etc., that dumb ridge always seemed to cut into my toes Not with these sandals. These fit snugly (won't slip off), have the arch support that I need, and the ridge is nowhere near my toes. So comfy!! I ordered another pair in black and I'm literally going to dump my black leather Birkenstocks for these because they're so much more comfortable. One more thing: I was concerned about the "platform" in the title. I don't notice a true platform to these shoes at all. I think the little bit of added sole only serves to provide both support and some cushion- not a lot of added height. I don't know if they'll last as long as my Birkenstocks did, but they sure will be more comfortable!

Chronic illness and balance conscious review
I purchased these shoes specifically for wearing with compression socks. The shoe holds my foot well, the fit is true to size and look is as expected. The shoe feels lightweight and feels well put together. When standing, it feels like there is more padding in the front of the shoe which makes the weight of the body shift to the heel, causing knees to lock and feel unsteady. Walking thru the house the padding of the shoe does make it weird to naturally roll your natural step leaving a lot of weight on the back heel.Initial thoughts, I would not recommend for someone with mobility issues or balance concerns. Hopefully as the shoes break in more, the front of the shoe will sink a little lower and adjust to not feel as heel heavy.

Cushy and cute!
4.5: These are so comfy and cushy, I have worn them all day several times! I'm a 40 in Birks so I ordered a size 9, but usually I wear a 10. I doubt the 'platform' sandal look: these are just a slightly thicker, foamy Birkenstock copycat, but wayyy more comfy than the actual Birks! They were a little short, but after getting used to them and wearing them for a few days, they did seem to mould a little to my foot, so it was fine. The lighter-colored foam plastic does get dirty easily, so be prepared to wash them. Also, in very sweaty or wet situations they can be slippery (watch out cruisers). I bought a second pair, so I'm pretty happy.
