Excellent
My son loves these, I thought I would get them for him for Christmas as he loves to build and invent things. He can sit for a while playing with this and making things, definitely fun, sturdy and good value. There's isn't an awful lot of variety in the pieces but the different designs provided help for a starting point for kids to make their own designs.

Good building set for children aged 3 to 5
I got this stem-building set for my 7-year-old for his birthday, as he loves building things with his Lego and Duplo blocks, hence I thought he’d enjoy playing with these. For the price, you get tons of building pieces which include wheels so that you can build vehicles as well as figures, animals, robots and much more. Unlike Lego, these have thin pieces with rounded ends that fit into each other which means built structures don't have much mass but are more rigid than Lego bricks, which tend to break much easily. In total, you get 170 pieces, which is enough to build various structures and models. They come in a mixture of bright playful colours and are easy to clip on. It comes with a few pictures with ideas of what to build, but no instructions, which encourages kids to use their imagination which is a good thing. Although my 7-year-old initially had fun building with this set, he hasn't played with it to the same extent he does with his Lego, which he keeps coming back to. Perhaps this is more suited to younger children. The set comes in its own plastic bucket with clips and a handle, so once the fun is over, the pieces can be put away. Overall, this is a good set, but I feel older kids, who are more influenced by branded properties, won't enjoy it as much as younger children.

Great creative toy
I think this set is fantastic - there's lots of different blocks which connect in different ways, and guides re how to put things together. Best of all though if the individual creativity - it's like Lego in the old days... it all goes into a box and the child's creativity can run wild making whatever vehicle / monster / monster vehicle you want. It all goes nicely in a big plastic crate to sit in the corner when not being used.Excellent!

Fantastically inventive toy to give to a three year old
Fantastically inventive toy to give to a three year old. Within a couple of minutes we were making walking sticks, and shortly afterwards we were onto dogs and motorcars! Very robust and durable, the blocks are brightly coloured and not easily lost or trampled on. It was a pleasure to watch my girl start to learn how best to manipulate the blocks and the connections. Highly recommended for any child as it stimulates their creativity and their ability to construct and build.
