As an owner of various & numerous G Shocks, since they were first introduced in 1983, I purchased my A11 as a 30th anniversary G Shock . . . the watch is awesome! A true 21st century watch; solar powered, it NEVER NEEDS winding or concern to replace its' battery, Radio controlled, it NEVER NEEDS setting and per the US Naval Observatory Master Clock it is accurate TO THE SECOND. The functions ( time mode, world time, stop watch, time reduction, alarm & COMPASS ) ) are intuitive, user friendly and easy to learn and access. The watch features an ELECTRONIC CROWN, A CARBON FIBRE sweep second hand; the design, in green accents is TOTALLY FLAWLESS!! And with the glare resistant sapphire crystal and big, bold watch face it is clean, modern 21st century and easily readable. The hands glow in the dark, but the intensity is not as constant as one might want yet is always readable in the total darkness. the wear is lightweight and suitable to any extreme with TRIPLE SHOCK PROTECTION, 200 m water resistant. It is one of the NEWER HIGH END G Shocks and it exudes EXTREME QUALITY !! As an active member of law enforcement I very highly recommend this watch

This is a great watch with terrific functionality and a really clever display. I had thought it would be difficult to set up and adjust but the new crown mechanism made it pretty simple and intuitive. It's big and bold and finely crafted. Plus the accuracy and self powering make it a standard wear in my collection. I'll never fly an F-15 at Mach 2 but it's speaks to the resilience of the design to take on every day life without dings or defects. Love this piece.

This is an amazing watch an it looks very manly; size is perfect for my 7 1/4" wrist. Atomic calibration is absolutely accurate; sapphire AR Glass is perfectly clear, the compass function is very helpful and it works really good. I believe this is a must buy for any G Shock Lover. This is the kind of watch that lasts forever with no major care. The autonomy that the solar powering and the atomic calibration gives you, makes this watch a perfect piece of technology. Neobrite lume on the dial is good but I would have enjoyed an additional backlight function for those moments when you are (for example) at the movies or any other dark place for more than one hour, but for me this is not a big concern.I can absolutely recommend this timepiece.

Had to return. Instructions were only in Japanese.The watch was way above my pay grande.The watch is like a computer on your wrist.

There are a lot of great features. For the price, I think that it is worth the purchase. The watch has great functions and durability. It is a great watch for fashion, work or sport. I do recommend this watch.

The media could not be loaded. The Sapphire glass on this is so clear, its as if it doenst have a lens at times when you look at it. It looks rugged and masculine. I have a 7 1/4" wrist and looks and wears fine I dont think its too big at all. The compass feature is neat and it is simple to set up. This watch could have easily starred in any of the Mission Impossible movies with Tom Cruise.

Let me begin by saying this is a really nice watch that feels extremely well made, and of a high quality. The face is full of detail and everything works great right out of the box. The instructions sent to me by the seller, were clear and concise. The compass function is awesome! (biggest reason I purchased this model)I rated this watch the 3 stars for multiple reasons;1. There isn't a tilt function, and/or back light on this watch. So at night, the watch is absolutely useless. You will read some reviews that say the hands glow in the dark (bla bla bla), and they do, but only for about 30 minutes after being held in front of the brightest light I could find (my car's xenon headlights). So for those of us who are only outside at night long enough to take out the trash, this watch is for you.2. There is no way to set hourly "beep" reminders. Something minor, but another function I wanted in a watch (standard on most other G-Shocks).3. The alarm isn't very loud. I wouldn't depend on this function to wake me up for work.4. The price - I didn't know which G-Shock to buy, so I figured I would just buy the best and most expensive one! This watch is far from the "best" G-Shock. All the issues I stated above are standard on the G-Shock Frogman. The only difference is this watch uses the second hand for the compass function and the Frogman is a digital watch. For the price I purchased this watch for, I made the mistake and assumed, these functions and issues were standard on all G-Shocks. Why wouldn't it be? It is the most expensive one, right?If you want the NEWEST G-Shock, by all means purchase away. But if you want the best watch in the Casio line-up, keep looking. Save the extra money. I am still baffled that this watch doesn't have a light function...Good luck,Michael

Mi esposo es Fan de esta marca de relojes, en realidad no son tan caros para lo que ofrecen: HERMOSOS DISEÑOS, DURABILIDAD, PRECISIÓN y muy actualizados a lo que ofrece el mercado, siempre en lo último de la tecnología y al más alto nivel. Son fáciles de poner, la esfera es hermosa , no pesan tanto y su tamaño es grande pero no demasiado tienen un gran tamaño, para cualquier hombre. Lo recibimos en muy buen estado, muy bien protegidos Muchas gracias

サファイアガラス使用で全体がブラックに白と濃い目のグリーンの差し色がとても素敵で前から欲しかった商品でしたが、発売日がもう10年以上前ということと、ライトが無いこと、更にカシオ製品のプロトレックアナログモデルで以前嫌な思いをしたことがあり（電波ソーラーのデジアナタイプだったが時刻がある日突然とんでもない時刻を表示しだし、何をしてもダメでカシオに持ち込み修理。結果原因不明でアッセンブリー交換を有償で行うも、しばらくしてまさかの現象再発。カシオにアナログは無理だったかと残念な思いをした経験あり）、カシオのアナログには消極的でした。まあ今回はきっと大丈夫でしょう（笑）実物は腕にはめるとデカい（笑）所有しているレンジマン9400とほぼ同じサイズ感と思っていたけど、アナログなので大きく感じるのかもしれない。と、商品はともかく問題点は配送。急用で外出中に届けられました。amazon配達なので配送後は時間変更も出来ずどうなることかヒヤヒヤしてましたが…帰宅してみた結果、郵便受けに入るサイズではないのに「郵便受けに入れました」という後報告だけもって玄関先に置かれてありました。包装も雑で、大きい段ボール箱の中は何の包装もされておらずamazon配送には不安感しかありません。配送の評価があるなら星１個。こんなことしてたらそのうち事件事故になるよamazonさん。せめて一般の大手配送会社と同じく出荷後でも配送変更できるようにしてもらいたい。

マルチバンド5、6 対応の5600系を色違いで所有しており愛用してきたのですが、以前から欲しかったSKY COCKPITを今回購入。5600系はオン、オフ問わず使用しているのですが、その日の気分によってスーツにも合うなと思ったり、少し安っぽく見えたりする感じがしていて決してオールマイティーな時計ではありませんでした。（気に入っているし、機能的には大満足なので2本持っているのですが。）今回のSKY COCKPIT (GW-A1100-1A3JF) は5600系では満たせなかった所有欲を満たしてくれるものになっています。お値段も全然違うし、コンセプトも違うので当然と言えば当然ですね。針や文字盤のデザインが秀逸で飽きのこないスマートさを持っていると思います。グリーンにするかレッドにするかについては、悩みましたが、少し遊びが欲しかったのでグリーンにしました。レッドのものはどちらかというと従来のG-SHOCKにありがちな配色かと思ったためです。タイトル通り、少し大きくて重いのでパソコン仕事中は外してしまうこともあるのですが、それはご愛嬌でしょうか。私の思う唯一の難点が、日付の見難さでしょうか。一桁の表示の場合はよいのですが、二桁の場合十の位が見難いと感じます。そこは文字のデザインなりの工夫がもう一つ欲しかったところです。また、海外在住（ドイツ）のためマルチバンドには拘っており私にとっての必須機能としていますが、5600系と同様に安定的に電波を受信してくれています。ワールドタイムモードの設定についてもリューズをひねることで簡単にタイムゾーンを変えられますので操作性にも満足しています。5600系では目的のタイムゾーンまでボタンを押し続けなければならなかったので面倒でした。その他、バックライトがないことを気にされる方がいると思いますが、白い針の視認性は良好です。飛行機の中で何時間も照明が落とされている状態となっても時刻を確認することはできます。方位計測機能は、旅先で枕の向きを確認するのに役立ってくれそうです。。

G-SHOCKの定番カラーといえばGW-A1100-1AJF この黒に赤のアクセントがベーシックと思っていたが、2015年8月時点のG-SHOCKホームページ、カシオ腕時計カタログ、G-SHOCKカタログともにこのグリーンインデックスのモデルが大きく掲載されている。アメリカのカシオサイトやAmazon.comでもグリーンが優先的に掲載&販売されている。初めてこの製品をみたとき、なぜグリーンをメインに扱っているのかわからなかったのだが、マイナビニュースというサイトのカシオ開発者インタビュー(バックナンバー)をみて理由がわかった。カシオの開発者は軍用機や一部民間機に採用されているヘッドアップディスプレイ(HUD)の色やデザインをモチーフに採用してメインカラーとして売り出すことにしたそうだ。HUDとはパイロットが前方から視線を動かさなくても情報が表示されるディスプレイ装置で軍用機はほぼ装備されている。民間機も設置されることが増えてきたようだ。たしかにHUDの画像と並べてみると色が一致している。SKY COCKPITシリーズでは数少ないデュアルタイムを同時に表示しないモジュールを搭載しているため、文字盤の大きさの割にすっきりしている。時計・24時間計・曜日兼モード表示・カレンダー表示だけである。SKY COCKPITファンには針が物足りないかもしれないが、その代わりにボタンとリュウズの操作で他のタイムゾーンを呼び出したりその他の機能を使いこなすことができる。スマートアクセスと記載があったのでスマホと連動するのかと思ったがそうではなかった。リュウズの操作で容易に設定や切り替えをする機能のことを呼ぶらしい。本モデルでは高級モデル以外では数少ない無反射コーティングサファイヤガラスが採用されている。SKY COCKPITに多いカーブガラスではなく平面ガラスであるが、とてもぶ厚いガラスだということがG-SHOCKアンテナショップに展示されているカットモデルで知った。サファイヤガラスは原価も高くとても頑丈で傷がつきにくく透明度も高い素材だが、強い衝撃を受けると割れたり欠けたりするらしい。しかし、カットモデルで確認できるほどの厚さがあれば、よほどのことがない限り割れることはないと感じた。投稿時点で新型モデルのGPS電波受信機能以外は完璧にみえるこの商品だが1つだけ弱点がある。1つ前のモデルGW-A1000シリーズ、GPS搭載のGPW-1000共通の仕様だが、ユーザーの操作で12時位置の針の微調整ができない。(カレンダー日付の微調整はできる)出荷時にぴったりに調整されていれば何も問題はないのだが、どうしても製造上のばらつきで出荷時の設定では針が12時ジャストに揃わないこともある。最近の3つのモデルは12時ジャストのマニュアル調整ができない。(所有していないモデルについては取扱説明書pdfにて確認)時計店で購入する場合は現物を見て確認した上で買うことができるが、通信販売だと手元に届いてみないとわからない。Amazonは他の通販サイトに比べて柔軟に交換などに応じてくれるが、他の通販ショップでは出荷検査をパスしているので許容範囲内だと突っぱねられてしまうこともあると思う。製造時にばらつきがある可能性も考慮してユーザーでマニュアル調整できるモードを搭載して取扱説明書に記載してほしいと思った。ちなみに私の手元にある本モデルは出荷時の調整ですべての針が12時ジャストに揃っておりとても気に入っているが、マニュアル微調整ができない分☆1つ減らさせていただいた。G-SHOCKの新しいラインナップである○○MASTERシリーズでは、方位センサーだけでなく気圧センサーや温度センサーなどプロトレックで培った複数のセンサーを搭載し、アナログと液晶を組み合わせた多機能表示を売りにするモデルが出てきた。個人的にはSKY COCKPITにはアナログ表示でありながら使い勝手のよい時計の究極を目指してほしいと思っている。ちなみに海外ではSKY COCKPITはこのモデルも含め「Gravity Master」というラインナップで売られている。
