Peel and Stick Metal Molding Trim, Self-Adhesive Stainless Steel for Wall, Fireplace, Mirror Edging and Craft Decoration (Brushed Gold, 20ft x 0.6in)

I really had no idea what to expect as I ordered this to use for inner picture frames where my print was too small but it worked pretty good. It appears to be a nice color - brushed gold. I have a lot of the brushed gold delta hardware around my house and if using for trim it matches perfect. It was a little hard to use for what I ordered it for but that’s my fault as it’s not intended for that. I did have to cut with metal clippers and I’m not good at mitering so it was tough. But if you had the right tools I’m sure this would be wonderful. I may experiment on furniture. It seems to stick great in my opinion but I haven’t stuck it to cabinets or furniture so I can’t comment on that. It appears to be heavy duty sticky but might depend on the shoe of surface. I think it’s a great product for a really good price to add appeal.

Very strong metal, a bit hard to cut but sturdy. Hard to bend also (can be a positive or negative). Has a top clear plastic layer that I noticed when I hit it with a heat gun. Used this as tile trim. So far it’s sticking well Good color accurate to images.

Strong adhesive hold with very sharp edges, providing a clean, precise look once installed. Installation is straightforward, but you will need sharp scissors or a razor knife for accurate cutting.

This tape is amazing I used it on a mirror frame to create a brushed brass frame. Go slowly when applying. I thought I was Handy Helen until I realized in my rush I didn’t press the tape thoroughly. I had to go back with a cloth and smooth out my work. Take your time and you will end up with a beautiful project. This tape will need to be trimmed with tin shears. You can forget about scissors, they don’t work. Still, I love this metal tape. There is no chance that this tape will fall off. It sticks!

I wanted to replicate the black and gold look of ASUS ProArt parts but did not want to pay the asus tax. I bought a blower-style 3070 GPU, cleaned the surface with gloves and bent the cold metal around the body. With GPU temps at 80 C from hours upon hours of Cyberpunk, the adhesive has yet to detach. Be mindful this is real metal and you will need to order Aviation Snips to actually cut the strip. The adhesive probably clog up power tools and cut-off wheels. Lastly wear clean gloves because the fingerprint and grease are VERY visible.

Very sharp and difficult to cut. When you lay it on the surface if you are not very careful it bubbles. I had to order another section to finish my project.

Very disappointed. We did a wall for a client that required the metal gold shine. But the gold itself had fine line scratches and in some areas on the ends were dented. I am assuming due to the packaging. Because the roll was just in a plastic bag then put in a paper bag. So during the packaging handling is where this must have occurred. When we put it up the shine of the strip had been lost. If your going to buy this be very careful when cutting with a construction shears-the metal is very sharp and I cut three of my fingers just by gliding it to make sure each strip stuck on good. I ended up using a fine cloth because I don’t want to scratch it anymore than what is was already. And I feel that made it less shiny as well. Gave an opaque look. Very disappointed!!!
