My daughter is currently learning about different countries at school so I thought this would be the perfect gift for her. It’s great to have the globe to point out different places so she can see how big the countries are and how far they are away from us, it also helps me as geography is not my strong point!The globe itself seems decent enough quality and it’s a nice touch that it lights up to give it more of a wow factor. The app I found a bit confusing so we haven’t used that much but I’m hoping to get the hang of it over summer so we can make full use of it!Overall I’ve given 4 stars as the app could be better and the line in the middle of the globe I’m not that keen on but otherwise it’s been a fun learning tool for us.

I was excited to get this for my son. I have fond memories of my illuminated nightlight globe from when I was a kid, and wanted to share that joy with him.It was fairly straightforward to put together and seems reasonable well made. Unfortunately, there are no longitude lines to line up with the markings on the north pole cap. It would've been nice to have both longitude and latitude markings, but it is a little on the small side, so it possible would've been too cramped. It would be better overall if were at least 30-35cm.I appreciate that they've used LEDs for energy efficiency, but would've preferred a variety of LED light more easily replaceable by the user. Also, the provided cable is quite short, and for the price I would've hoped they'd include a plug and maybe even a switch.I searched on the play store and couldn't find the app. It looks like it's no longer available. Without the app it's definitely overpriced.This globe is selling for £24.99 at the time of this review. I personally think even with the app it would have to be a very good app to make it worth that price.

Lovely globe for a school desk or a kids home study area. The associated app is good fun as well but I think the globe itself is the bigger selling point. You see fewer of these about at the moment but there's nothing like learning from a physical globe. Beautiful bright colours. A little light but it seems to stay steady on it's base.

Easy enough to assemble - instructions are minimal.Initially I wasnt too sure about the white lines until i realised it was the equator and when lit up it realy works well. I plugged it in with a longer USB-C cable that I had and it didnt come on so to begin with I thought it was faulty as I know the cable works, however for some reason it will only work with the supplied cable so if anyone else has a problem just check you are using the one that has Exerz name on it.The WisePlant free app is most likely best for a child (thank you to the reviewer who mentioned it to save me hunting down). It will give them an overview of things they are looking at and then they have a choice as to whether they investigate further. Additionally they are possibly more technically savvy in using it and have more patience in working out what it does than me and I must say I decided it was up to the kids to explore and educate themselves! I thought it was a bit plasticky and therefore it was a little overpriced but having compared to similar it seems that it is quite reasonable!

Globe itself is okay but it's kain feature, the app, does not exist for Android! Customer support is non existent too! Not happy with this at all!

It’s a great way to learn, very different and in keeping with modern times/tech, but the seam in the middle of the globe really lets it down. It’s just not nice to look at, especially when lit. Such a shame that a little bit more effort didn’t go into that part as the seam is so visible, it makes it look really cheap and nasty. Otherwise it would’ve been great.

My son loved his planet, is perfect for kids to learn about countries, Continents and everything related.It works perfectly, the light is great, easy to assembled and use.

Der Globus wird als Zusammenbau-Set in Einzelteilen geliefert, die man selbst zusammenfügen muss. Er ist kleiner als gedacht, aber für Kinder ganz okay. Die Sprache spielt keine Rolle, da eh nur die größten Städte auf dem keinen 20cm Globus aufgedruckt sind.Unsere beiden 2,5 jährigen Jungs waren recht interessiert es zu entdecken, auch wenn Sie es vermutlich noch nicht ganz verstehen. Der Globus selbst ist aber auch eine dekorative und bunte Kinderzimmer-Leuchte - leider ohne Ein-Aus-Schalter, so dass man immer den USB-C Stecker abziehen muss.Insgesamt fürs Kinderzimmer eine schöne Sache - wenn die Kids größer werden darf es dann auch gern ein etwas größerer sein.

Insgesamt ein zufriedenstellendes Produkt, das seinen Zweck erfüllt und eine gute Ergänzung für den Geografie-Unterricht darstellt. Wer top Qualität sucht, wird enttäuscht sein und muss leider tiefer in die Tasche greifen.
