OXO Good Grips Large Sink Mat

I wasn't sure when I first got this, if it would stand up to my Instant Pot Stainless Pot siting on it full of hot water (without collapsing) and things like that. It's been great after several months of use and no signs of tiring or breaking down. It naturally seems to stay clean, debris rinses right off so I don't have to deeps scrub it as often as the old type that just laid in the sink. This stays elevated on the little feet off the sink so there's no build up of food debris or anything and it dries right away so the sink surface is never gross or smelly because of it either. I occasionally use it to flip things over and dry in the sink as well when space is needed so that is especially helpful. The sink is steel also so it keeps the dishes and silverware from clanging around while in active use. If I had a prep sink or other I'd get one of these for it too, definitely would suggest to others. Note: I had someone in to look at the disposal and they wondered where I got this, said they'd never seen one that stood up off the sink before like this, keeping things clean and dry. Definitely would recommend.

The OXO Good Grips Large Sink Mat is a solid, reliable product. OXO rarely disappoints, and I hope they continue maintaining their reputation by producing high-quality items like this. I used to buy rubber sink mats that wore out quickly, but after switching to the OXO mat, I’ve found it lasts for several years. The price has gone up—almost double—but the durability makes it worth it. I would definitely recommend this product.

I've been using these for about 3 months now, and they're working well. I got these because height was taller than other options; I wanted it to be as easy as possible for food bits to be washed out underneath the mats. They still seem close to the sink surface, but they do well to let water/food debris flow through. I do clean underneath the mats after every meal clean-up; if you don't do this, food bits might accumulate and get gross (even more for my sink, which has very little to no slope toward the drain). The rigidity also works out better; it's easier to lift, prop, move them around. I have a rectangular sink and got two; the drain is exposed/not covered in the middle, and I place one on each side, so I have flexibility to remove one side. They're holding up well to hot water (though I've never poured boiling water directly onto them, nor do I plan to, and I don't place pots directly from stove on them), as well as pressure when I'm scrubbing the bottom of pots that I've placed on the mats.

Pros- This sink mat is one of the better ones I’ve found. It is rigid so it’s easy to wash with a sponge without it flopping all around. The bottom where the feet are is not sharp like others so it doesn’t tear up the sponge. It seems strong enough to last awhile. Cons- It says it is dishwasher safe but it warped like crazy when I put it in the dishwasher once. It only fits on the bottom shelf of my dishwasher FYI. I still kept using it after because it still worked even when warped and eventually flattened out by weight of dishes in the sink. Best to hand wash it. Also, if you don’t have a food disposal grinder in your drain, like me, you will have to lift up the sink mat to empty the drain cover. I do just fine with that but it’s something to consider and can be kind of difficult to manage with many dishes in the sink.

Great sink mat. OXO makes good products overall, and this is no exception. It comes in two sizes. This is the larger version and it fits perfectly in my Kohler porcelain sinks. It has some knubbys on the bottom that keep it from sitting completely on the sink so you can easily spray away small debris without lifting the mat. This is my second mat. The first one lasted at least three years or more. Periodically, I put it on the top shelf of my dishwasher to clean it.

I bought this to protect my beautiful but heavy Le Creuset pan from getting chipped as I wash it in a stainless steel sink. This pad has little feet that allow water to flow away from whatever you are washing. To clean it, I fill the sink half way with hot soapy water and give it a good wipe down with a small wash cloth that I use for my counters. Then I brush the nooks and crannies. If you do this every few days the pad will not be difficult to keep clean. I remove the pad if I have a greasy pan. First I use a paper towel to wipe out all the grease. I do a quick rinse and then put the pad back in the sink to finish washing the pan. Why? We all know what a pain it is to get grease off plastic. Love my pad. It’s an awesome kitchen helper.

To start with, it is in grey colour and looks decent and nice. It feels solid with some feet underneath which gives some space between mat itself and the sink - this is extremely useful as all the oily water can flow to the drain well and mat stays relatively clean. The size I bought is large, well , it is still seems small for my big single bowl sink (80cm), but Ok to use for putting pans and pots. It does give a good protection to the sink. Have used it for over a month and it did not stained (yet) and easy to clean. I have also put hot pans on it, didn't burn it. Will see how long it can last. So far, a good buy.

Avevo il modello precedente quindi stessa marca. L'ho bruciato con una pentola calda. La marca ha comunque prodotti che apprezzo e allora ho optato per questo. Una stella in meno solo perché un centimetro in più in altezza e larghezza non guastava e perché slitta un po' proprio per il fatto che i tacchetti sono in silicone. Soddisfatto.
