Just received and tried 3.1st would prematurely release, and go flying off at varying amounts of winding. Too hazardous to give to a kid.2nd disintegrated as I took it out of the package3rd worked with no issues, but its spin time is easily the shortest out of all of the varieties of tops I have purchased.Only good thing is that the winder comes bundled with the top.I will have to test them all to see if any are suitable as gifts.

We used these as prizes and as COOL as they appeared, some of the units didn't work. We were disappointed but the ones that did work were amazing. So Im rating this one right down the middle where the rest of the "hit or miss" items typically fall.
