Perfect kit for teaching embroidery to new learners. Bought this as a giveaway for some kids in my Church to use as a "teaching tool", along with several other items, about following instructions for successful outcomes. Very pretty and impressive crewel set at a decent price point.

I wanted to take up embroidery and figured a kit would be easiest! I love how it has levels and videos to show you how. Great for a beginner like me. Comes with everything I need that I know of. Also so cute!!

Negatives first:The thread quality is terrible - you absolutely need the needle threader, even with just 1 or 2 threads at a time. Definitely do not try threading 4 or more strands at once, the needle eye is NOT large enough - do 2 or 3 strands, double it over and fold at the ends to give you the 4 or 6 strands you need.The instructions are generally pretty clear for the stitches, though there are no instructions or color guides for the animals/plants in the middle of each sampler. Also, someone had the bright idea of writing the thread color codes in the thread colors - despite most of the thread colors being far too light to read, even in daytime with my nose to the pattern.Both of these are annoying but can easily be worked around by using the provided needle threader and tracing over the color codes in pen.Otherwise, great value for money - the patterns are cute and seem to be in a good progression so are great for beginners or ppl like me who are looking for a refresher and a reference (I’m planning to make my own pattern and this will be great for figuring out what stitches to use where, etc).

I absolutely loved the CYANFOUR 4 Stage Embroidery Kit! As a beginner, I really appreciated how the kit walks you through different skill levels step by step. The instructions are clear, the designs are beautiful, and all the materials feel high-quality. It’s a relaxing and creative way to unwind. It was great gift for my teenage daughter. Highly recommend for anyone curious about embroidery or looking for a new hobby!

As someone who’s never tried embroidery before, I was excited by the promise of a “4-stage beginner to expert” kit with detailed instructions and video tutorials. And honestly, the materials delivered on that—there’s a lovely set of four stamped fabrics, plenty of colorful threads, a hoop, needles, scissors, a threader, a seam ripper, and everything else you'd expect—all packaged in a beautiful gift-worthy box. The quality feels great and you really do get everything you need.But here’s the sticking point: the instructions are terrible for someone who’s completely new to embroidery. The printed directions are confusing and just show very vague pictures, and although the product page claims there are video tutorials, there isn’t a video for the beginner “easy set.” I ended up turning to ChatGPT and searching online for help just to figure out what to do next. Love love love. It has a QR code for the YouTube videos as well which are so useful. I struggle with reading directions but these were clear and well defined. The size of the hoop and the fabric they give you are perfect. My boyfriend got me this as a gift as I am just starting out and I love it. It comes with everything you need to get started. It also tells you how many threads you need to use per stitch which I loved. Definitely would recommend for anyone first starting out
