Q: Are these waterproof?

Ours is an indoor strip light, not waterproof, you can use it in your bedroom, living room, room, kitchen, bookcase, shoe cabinet, stairs, back of TV and anywhere else you want to light.

Q: Does anybody else's light randomly turn on at odd hours of the day? My lights turn on in the middle of the night while asleep.

Sorry for the inconvenience. Because our controller uses a very sensitive induction chip, when you turn on any high-powered appliances in your home, the controller of the strip will sense the change in current and cause the strip to turn on and off automatically. If you don't like this change, we suggest you manually unplug the USB plug of the strip while turning off the TV. Our subsequent products have been upgraded for this problem, thank you for your support and understanding of our products.

Q: When i plug the lights into my tv it pops up with a notification saying “this usb device requires more power. use power adapter” what do i do?

This tv led backlights is powered by 5V, please make sure the voltage of your tv's usb is 5V. If your tv's usb power is less than 5V, please use a power adapter.

Q: Can I have it show a solid color?

Yes, my friend. You can use remote controller or APP(Duoco StripX) to choose solid color mode.
