Bamboo lifetime 31335, 25 Bottle Wooden Wine Rack

I bought this to sit out in my kitchen to keep wine in one place and looking tidy.It is described as solid walnut wood. I have walnut furniture and it bears no resemblance to that. It may be walnut, however, it is flimsy and feels like kindling wood (thin sticks for a fire). The wood on the pattern on the sides is particularly thin.There were no instructions.it comes in 12 parts. I foolishly did not notice that half of the spars had small grooves and half had larger grooves until after I had built it and taken it to put the wine bottles on it:-(. So I had to take it apart and put it back together again. I had spent too much time trying to keep hold it all in place when trying to build it.The bottle supports have a dowel like part to go into the sides and there are screws to use into countersunk holes to secure it. Some of the screws were loose in the holes and were not effective. I should probably have used some glue to secure the dowels into the wood. A DIY person would probably have put it together in a fraction of the time I took and used glue to secure all the loose parts together etc. I don't think I should need to do that.It does look okay when sitting in the corner of my kitchen but I don't trust it to hold 25 bottles or to last for any length of time.Overall, it looks better than it feels and only time will tell if it serves the purpose.I truly cannot be bothered taking it apart (after two attempts to put it together), get it into the box and return it.I gave it 2 stars since it looks okay if you don't examine it too closely.Wish I had paid significantly more and got a better one.
