It's been difficult finding a bottle for my new born son which doesn't drown him with milk and spill over everywhere. This MAM bottle is perfect and I find my baby is much happier after feeding and he's also happy to drink more since the flow of milk is perfect.

I’ve been using MAM bottles for years and they never fail to exceed my expectations. My newest baby had really bad issues with being gassy/colicky (which I never experienced before) and has tongue tie pretty bad. These were absolute lifesavers! We tried Tommy Tippee, Dr Brown’s, NUK and Avent. None of them brought her any relief and she struggled to latch on really bad. Since using these, she latches on like a champ and no longer has issues with trapped gas from excessive air. I also love that they double as self sterilizers and it’s so easy to do. Although there are a couple extra parts when it comes to cleaning, I personally don’t mind with how well my baby does with them. Anytime I’m asked what bottles are the best to use, I ALWAYS recommend the MAM bottles.

I highly recommend these bottles as after buying many brands, this is absolutely the most efficient and well designed bottle. Our 3+ month baby is accepting it better than any other brand and the nibble is amazingly designed to match the mother's.

Finally!! If you're a mom to a BF baby who won't make the transition to a bottle when you need to go back to work, then you understand the desperation to find ANYTHING that will work. Cheap platex, breast-shaped Comotomo, real-feel latex, etc etc, nothing worked. After weeks of trial and error and wasting money on failed bottle after failed nipple, I put out a desperate request for advice on social media the evening before my first day back to work. Yes, I'd been leaving the house so my husband could try to feed her in my absence, but this would be the first time I would have to be gone for a 10 hour stretch and I was racked with guilt that she'd go hungry all day. Of all the advice I received, only one suggestion was new to me, and that was the MAM. A few folks said it was all that worked for them. I'd become so cynical that despite MAM's claim that it has a 94% acceptance rate among babies, I was sure that my stubborn daughter would be in the other 6%, but nonetheless I drove nearly an hour from my house to the only store in the area that had it in stock and left my husband the next morning to try it out while I was at the office. I can't even describe the relief and elation I felt when he told me it worked and she accepted a modest amount after a little hassle. Over the next few days, her feedings improved and she and my husband finally found their rhythm. So then of course we needed to stock up on more bottles and nipples, and that's when I went to Amazon. Also, we found for our 3 month old that she prefers the #1 nipple to slow the flow of warm milk and the #2 to increase the flow of cold or room temperature milk (which is a bit thicker and doesn't flow as quickly). Every baby is different and just because this worked for my baby doesn't mean it will work for all. But I can tell you that my little girl was an especially stubborn case (lactation consultant said it was time to move on to leaning cup feeding or syringe/pipette feeding). So there probably really is something to the claim that it has a 94% acceptance rate. Good luck!

The Good: I used a bunch of different free sample bottles with my baby before settling on a brand. When I first looked at Mam bottles, I thought the design was weird and I didn't think my baby would like the nipple...but I was so wrong! The nipple shape and design is one of the best things about these bottles, and most of the reason my baby loves them so much. She is now 3 months old, and she eats better with these bottles than any others we have tried (and I even bought a few different brands in full-size - these are the ONLY ones she likes). She seemed to get easily frustrated or 'choke' on nearly every other bottle/nipple brand we tried. In cause you're curious, we tried: Dr. Browns, Phillips Avent, Playtex (including the slanted bottles - hated them) and NUK bottles as well. MAM came out on top. She liked Phillips Avent OK, but she definitely prefers these MAM bottles and nipples over any other brand. She consistently eats several more ounces when we use these MAM bottles. She was even ready for Stage 2 nipples by about 2.5 months, which surprised me, but she does great with them. No choking or sputtering with these! I have also had pretty consistent issues with *major* spit-up (to the point where we were concerned about reflux), but I believe these bottles helped alleviate the problems she was having. The vents really do work as advertised. They are even easier to clean and sanitize than other bottle brands because the bottoms screw off! Finally, what really sealed the deal for me was that they bottles are NOT manufactured in China! They are made in Europe. I highly recommend them. The bad: I honestly don't have any real issues with these bottles or nipples. We love them. Sometimes water gets into the bottom of the bottle when we are washing it, and it *seems* like it is leaking when you shake it, but it isn't formula (just excess water that got in the bottom). They also don't have a lot of extra measurement lines on them (but I like simplicity so that's great for me), and they don't measure below 2 oz, but for a 9 oz bottle I wouldn't think that would matter much for most consumers.
