Good for the price. Meng Jiaran farm set.
I have 27 not 28 pieces, everything in the box just short by one piece of grass. The measurements are correct, a few weird colours- bright yellow cat, orange bull and pony, otherwise not too bad and for the £5.99 price this set is ok. The animals are solid, not hollow, there are 15 animals, 8 pieces of fencing with one extra piece being the entrance and usually 4 pieces of grass, the animals have quite good detail and it all comes in a shallow box. I've given 4 stars as this little set is quite good for the money, not sure if I'd pay postage for it though.

A fun and simple farm toy set for a budget price.
This is a fun and simple toy farm set especially for those on a budget. The toys come in a plain brown box and inside you get 8 fence pieces, one archway/door piece that says 'My Farm' on it, four pieces of grass and 15 animals (not twelve like it says on the listing). This plastic toy set is good but I will say right away that if you are looking for a perfectly detailed and extremely realistic animal toy set then you might be a little disappointed as this set for me had about three animals that had problems standing up and they aren't painted really on the eyes. However, for a small toy set it's actually better than I thought. You do get a variety of farm animals in this set. There's a bull, cow, calf, donkey, cat, dog, pig, rooster, chicken, duck, horse, rabbit, sheep, goat and you also get what looks like an African water buffalo (a bit exotic). The animals are well painted in terms of their base colours. The only thing they lack are their facial feature paints (no black eyes for example, just the base colours). You can see the detail of the animals coats though and their eyes, ears, etc. when you look at them more closely. In fact their texture detail is brilliant, they just lack some of the facial detail like their eyes painted (except for the damatian dog that did have black eyes). The animal sizes are a bit off and not so realistic. The rooster, chicken and duck stand on a base and on his base the rooster is taller than every animal in the farm, lol! However I don't expect this set to be super realistic, it's a kids toy set after all and some years ago before a certain dog-in-my-pocket toy had a redesign I used to collect them and there was a chihuahua the same size as a golden retriever, lol. So unrealistic sizes don't bother me, the details of what they look like are more important to me and the texture detail is brilliant! There are eight fence pieces, a couple of these had slightly wonky bases which meant they had trouble standing up. The same was true of three of the animals, although I did find a couple of them could stand after I gently bent their leg back into place, and the bull who still refused to stand, I ended up balancing him by making him stand inside the grass which worked for all the wobbly animals when I first got this set. I do think some of these animals legs or fence pieces might have bent not because of bad manufacture but just because they were all pressed together into a box so maybe that led to some of them getting slightly bent legs during transport/being stuck in the box for a long time.Overall it's not the most perfect farm set out there, but at six pounds it's a very decent set and the detailed texture of the animals makes them look fun even if there are no details painted on the eyes or faces. I know as a child growing up I would have liked this play set, in fact I think I have a very similar set like this at home from my childhood as my family couldn't afford expensive toys at the time when I was very young. For a budget farm set it is a good toy though, and would make for some fun decorations on cakes or in pictures too.
