They are nice hose clamps, with a bridge so that they won't crimp steel-reinforced flexible dust collection hose.BUT if you are thinking of using them with the Amazon Choice 2.5" Dust Collection Hose  POWERTEC 70129 2-1/2-Inch x 10-Foot Flexible PVC Dust Collection Hose, Clear Color , DON'T!These are made for a right-hand spiral hose; the hose mentioned above has a left-hand spiral, which, confusingly, is not mentioned in its description. For that hose you need Left Hand Bridge clamps  POWERTEC 70224 Keyed Left Hand Bridge Hose Clamp (5 Pack), 2-1/2" .How do I know? ... Umm ... Because I bought the Right Hand ones by mistake, returned them, and got the Left Hand ones.

Others have posted they are getting the wrong ones (the spiral is in the wrong direction). I didn't go by "right/left" handed in the description because I doubt there's a real standard on what that means. So, I went by the picture. It didn't match. I returned it for the other one and it too didn't work--I must've been sent the same one. Was it packaged wrong? I wished I had taken pictures.Something is strange about this, so I ended up ordering from a different manufacturer and again, used the picture to verify the spiral was in the correct direction. It came today. It worked fine.

I use both the finger clamp and regular screw clamps. Thumb screw are a bit more convenient not having to grab a drill or screw driver. The issue I've found with some of the finger screw clamps is they aren't big enough to really fit over the hose and any connection you may have on (e.g. quick connect). These have plenty of room and hold plenty tight just with the finger clamp.

Good quality. I had no idea what "bridged" meant, then I figured it out! Many hoses have a metal wire spiraling around the hose, and a normal (not-bridged) clamp will clamp down on the wire where it goes under the clamp. A bridged clamp has an offset, so no point of the clamp will clamp down on the wire.

Seeing the reviews on this and the right-hand version where customers all said that got the wrong handedness, I ordered these left-hand versions hoping they were actually the right-handed version.Well, it seems that either the seller fixed their packaging or my order was a fluke, but the ones I received when ordered the Left-Hand version in November 2018 were labeled "Left Hand" and *were* designed to fit left-handed hoses. They seem to be constructed fine, but I haven't used them as my hoses are right-handed. Now ordering the right-handed version and hoping that they are correct too.

I don't remember why I bought these. So they sit there on my parts shelf, mocking me with their shiny metal loop and pretty blue knobs.Oh wait! Now I remember. I'm gonna use them to couple some parts on a size adapter for the dust collection system in my workshop.Only suckers use nut drivers or screwdrivers to adjust their hose clamps.5 stars!

Getting the right hand vs left hand was a little tricky but it was worth it! These are great. I can now quickly remove and attach the hose to any machine in my shop. MUCH better than traditional hose clamps. The offset part of this is very nice. The clamp now sits flush with the fitting and I am not damaging the hose. Fantastic. These are great for dust collection hose, much better than a regular hose clamp that does not have the bump for the wire to pass through. Just make sure you appropriately buy right or left hand clamps for your hose.

Used to clamp dust collector hose to 4” hood.the offset of the clamp works excellent, as it is always clamping the hose, and not the reinforcement wire. Only small issue is when you tighten, there is more material than required.When you tighten, you have to watch not to cut your finger. I just cut it off with pliers so it’s away from my fingers.Worth the price.

Shipping was fast, I used these to connect my dust collection system to my table saw and planer. They work fine, easy to install and use as there are no tools required to tighten. Appear to be of decent quality.

Good price. Well made. Clips on/off easily.I used it to connect a 4" dust collection hose to my dust collector.I need to switch it quite often so it is ideal that it clips on/off so easily.Seals properly and is customized for the expanding 4" dust collection hose.

I got 4 left handed clamps and one right handed. I am now one clamp short as the right handed clamp is not what I need. Disappointed.
