Digital Fridge Thermometer with Temperature Warning Alarm and Max Min - Fridge Freezer Thermometer to Monitor Chilled Food

We have a huge standing freezer in our garage, full of all sorts of things. Meats, vegetables, dinners, raw dog food, etc. We had no idea that something was wrong in there before everything had defrosted and warmed to unsafe temps. I had to throw everything out and it made me sick to my stomach to know how much money I had just lost. This little thing could have prevented all of it!

We have a standing freezer that a few times our kids did not completely close the door and caused the food to defrost. This helps us see the temperature at a glance and take actions when the temps go above a set point before all our food melts. We have ours set at 20F and it works great.

The temp probe is very accurate. The cord to the temp probe if used to monitor temperature from the outside leaves a tiny gap on the seal. You will have ice buildup on the inside.

The alarm function is quiet and only rings for a few seconds, so easy to miss it. Also I bought two and they displayed different temperatures while sitting next to each other.

It works very well. The tempertaure reading was tested against a different probe and it was only off by one degree. That's an acceptable standard deviation in my book. Great for chest freezers near your living space so you don't wake up to a nasty surprise as we did when one of our fridges stopped working. Thankfully we didn't lose and appreciable amount of food.

Bought for upright freezer in garage. Wanted a alarm with it being out of sight so would know if door was left ajar. Door wouldn’t close tight enough on cord letting air in and frost to build. Very disappointed

With a small grandchild running around the house we lost a couple freezer loads of food due to the temp dial being turned down. This alarm works great and we haven't lost anymore food. It's not very loud but someone hears it before the temp drops too far.

Put these by my temperature sensitive medication. I didn't recognize it at first but it did draw my attention. The sound range was good, I have i would say I was 25 feet away. I was able to hear it in another room.

Tut ganz gut als Thermometer für den Tiefkühlschrank. Das Kabel ist etwas dicker/steifer als erwartet, geht aber noch. Habe die Anleitung verlegt und lange gesucht, wie man den Alarm einstellt. Für alle anderen, denen es auch so geht: Den Alarm-Knopf 🔔 2 Sekunden gedrückt halten. Im Display blinken HIGH und OUT. Den C/F-Knopf auf der Rückseite drücken, um das obere Limit einzustellen. (Oder C/F gedrückt halten für Schnelldurchlauf) Den Alarm-Knopf 🔔 noch einmal drücken. Im Display blinken LOW und OUT. Den C/F-Knopf drücken, um das untere Limit einzustellen. Den Alarm-Knopf 🔔 nochmals drücken, um die Einstellung zu beenden. Wird das Limit überschritten, piepst der Alarm einige Male (vielleicht insgesamt 5 Sekunden?) und ist dann erst mal stumm. In Abständen von gut einer Minute wiederholt sich das piepsen.

Seems to work really well. Much better than the cheaper 'single function' thermometers. Useful min and max function.
