Dissolvable Bernardin Labels

This product is fairly decent below about 75 degrees Farenheit. At higher temperatures - and this summer has been quite the heat wave - the adhesive tends to stay with the peel-off back, and not with the label. As I do much of my canning outside to avoid heat + moisture inside my kitchen, this presented a problem until I stuck the labels in the fridge for a few minutes before I wrote them out and attached them to my finished canned goods. I do not know how well they will dissolve, but I am absolutely sure that the label will stop adhering to my glass canned goods at the slightest hint of water, as some of them are peeling simply sitting in the back of the pantry. These difficulties make this a purchase I would likely not make again.

I rated this an average score because it was my fault that I wasn't paying attention and requested this item when it had a shipping cost of over twelve dollars. As you can tell by the size and type of product, there is absolutely no way that this item costs anywhere that amount to ship. This was very obvious scamming to either avoid paying fees to Amazon for the value of the sale, or scamming hoping that someone would do what I did and not notice that the shipping was so horribly high and fixate on the price of the item. Had this not have been my fault, I would have rated it even lower.

I liked these so much that I'm on my second box. They wash off very, very easily. Which is great for re-using your jars. But be careful not to let them get the least bit damp. They will disintegrate.

These labels are a must have and I have ordered several since my first order because they are wonderful! I make homemade jams and jellies and the problem that I had, before discovering these dissolvable labels, was that the labeling system I previously used would not come off the jars! These dissolvable labels do not have that problem. They come right off with just a little bit of water. No scrubbing or scrapping required! I am a fan for life!

I like these labels except there should be a warning that during high humidity conditions the adhesive backing remains on the background paper , leaving the label with no adhesive!

I really like these. They stick on the jars. I like that they are on a roll in a box. They are easy to write on and very inexpensive to use.

I like the labels but I found out I could have gotten them from Wal-Mart cheaper and also wouldn't have to pay shipping and handling charges.

inconsistency of labels sticking to jars...sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. other dissolvable labels that I've used work much better

Had a hard time finding labels in stores so ordered these. They are super poor quality. They are not like the Bernardin ones your find in store. I wouldn’t order these again.

Purchased these so that I remember to label my canning jars with date and what's included in the recipe.

These labels are great not only for canning, but to put on plastic containers with leftovers in the fridge so you know at a glance what they contain. Since they dissolve in water, there's no scraping required.
