7 Day XXL Twice a Day Weekly Pill Organizer (Pack of 2)

Really good for planning my meds for a couple weeks.

I started using this tray a long time ago, and it simplifies life SAFELY to such a degree that I decided to order enough trays for my 90-day supply of prescribed medications. One of its big advantages for me is that the section for each day holds my morning medications in one compartment, and my evening medications in another. And the compartments are nice and large. I also include my regularly taken vitamins and minerals for each day too, and one over-the counter med that I have to take daily. When I get my 90-day Rx supply, I open up all of the trays at my dining table and systematically and carefully fill all the trays. That takes about an hour, but this is not a problem for me at all because I loathe taking out a batch of bottles each day, opening and closing each one, and that is twice daily for some of them. I keep the tray that I am currently using out and handy, and I store the others safely in a drawer where it stays dark, and reasonably cool. Empty trays go back in the drawer with the full ones, and when I am begin my last tray, I order my next supply of prescriptions. So easy for spur of the moment overnights with my adult children. No big bag of bottles to haul around. Just a large rubber band around the tray lengthwise so that jostling enroute doesn't accidentally pop open a lid or two on the tray. Really has uncomplicated my life enormously!

Update: I still use these. I have only one complaint, but it's enough that I've dropped this to a 4 star instead of 5. The lids at times pop open. Unfortunately, this tends to happen when I've knocked it over--not a great distance, 5 or 6 inches onto my bed, not even the floor. Make sure you keep these stable and upright.--------Original review: I was just reading comments for this, and one reviewer said this thing needs its own ZIP code, it's so large. This is absolutely accurate.I think the pill organiser I had been using was a mini, because this is FAR more than 2x as large. I take 11-12 meds at a time, twice a day, and they're sort of dwarfed in the bottom of the container. The good news is, I could probably take a supplement of every vitamin and mineral known to man and they would fit in one or the other of the two pill cases I have. I HAD been playing Tetris to get all my meds into a pill case. now I have room for at least 30 more pills or supplements, easily.Regarding the color: The photo shows two different colors, so I thought I would be getting two colors when I ordered. Apparently, those are the available colors, because I received two of the same color. A minor disappointment (I was hoping to be able to tell by color which was my AM meds and which was my PM meds), but ultimately not a big deal and doesn't affect my rating.

These are sold as two packs. The picture shows a blue and a purple/pink. I received two opaque white ones. They are ugly, don't match my 4-compartments-per-day organizers that I need to use them with (a blue and a purple), and I won't be able to tell which week is which. The order page does not say anything about "colors may vary" or that the two pack will be two of the same color. They are not returnable, as they are "pharmacy" items.Amazon customer service did refund me. And she pointed out that buried way down on the bottom of the seller's page (visible only after you click "read more" and if you knew you needed to look at the seller's page in the first place) it does say that you can call them if you want a specific color, but there is no way anyone would know to do that if you are browsing the product page. They need to be much clearer about all this in the description.The pill boxes themselves work great if you just need a 1-per-day, XXL organizer--nice and roomy. I wouldn't use is for 2-per-day. The spaces are deep and narrow with the dividers in place, which would make it hard to get the pills out, and I'm not sure the divider would stay in if you turned it upside-down to dump the pills into your hand.

I wasn't expecting dividers within each compartment. But that's OK. The only problem with one organizer is that the 7th divider is actually 2 thinner dividers, but together, the 2 thin dividers are too thick. A manufacturing defect, I guess. Don't feel like returning it as it will work as is. But the design is not great. When the dividers slide out and the meds get stuck under them, it can be a pain to reorganize. It's probably easier not to use the dividers. These are also squarish compartments. That can make it difficult just to get the pills out. Another kind has a curved front, so you can easily slide the pills out.Update; 2 mos later, I am so frustrated with these that I am looking for something else. Aside from the aforementioned difficulties with retrieving pills, and pills slipping under the dividers, I have to keep them in a drawer. If they get sideways, are not completely right side up, they open and spill the pills. I also got two of the same color, and had to label one separately. I recommend that if you really need a versatile, usable product, keep shopping.

Purchased these to replace one that finally broke after many years of use. I like that these are made in the United States and I also like that they are see-through. The pink ones flip tops snap shut pretty securely. The blue one has loose flip tops on a few of the days and can’t be relied upon to stay closed when I turn the case to empty the pills. Also pops open in my luggage. I use a rubber band length wise to secure that one.

The size and color are great.Good looking product too.BUT, the lids are always coming open because the snaps are too loose.I’ve had to sort 2 and 3 days worth of pills twice now.I will be replacing these with a set from the store as I will try them before I buy them next time.
