He believed that the door hid magical secrets, and if he just scratched it properly, those secrets would reveal themselves. Fortunately, there was PROTECTO Door Scratch Protector, which protected the door at all times! In the heart of a bustling neighborhood, Charlie, a spirited Mini Goldendoodle with a love for scratching, found himself at odds with the pristine walls of his home. His habit, though full of innocent joy, left a canvas of scratches by the entrance door, telling tales of his enthusiasm. Hopefully, his family discovered the door scratch protector from PROTECTO, a simple yet effective solution that allowed Charlie to indulge without consequence. In the suburban wilderness, there resided an enthusiastic Colt, a spirited blend of Pointer, Pitbull, and Labrador, famed for his door-scratching announcements of impending outdoor adventures. In a stroke of genius, his family outfitted the balcony door with a robust scratch protector against Colt's zealous claws. Miraculously, this barrier magically neutralized Colt's urge to scratch, transforming him into a courteous giant who now opts for soft woofs to signal his readiness for exploration. In the heart of winter's embrace, Moss, a spirited Labrador, and his inseparable companion, Abbie the Terrier, find their joy in a garden blanketed with snow. Their days are filled with laughter, as they leap through the frosty air, craft snowballs and even assemble a snowman, standing proudly as a testament to their friendship. Yet, when the chill of their snowy escapades reaches their bones, they dash towards the warmth of home, signaling their return with eager scratches on the balcony door. The polycarbonate is easily cut with scissors for custom fitting. The material is 1mm thick but flexible and cuts cleanly. **Q: How do I properly install this product?** A: Clean the door surface first. Cut around handles using scissors if needed. Apply adhesive dots along the edge of the protector. Attach it to the door. Wait 24 hours for maximum bond strength. The detailed user manual comes with the product. **Q: What type of adhesive system does this product use, and will it damage my door?** A: The door protector uses upgraded clear 3M adhesive dots (not velcro) that provide a strong hold on clean, smooth surfaces at 40-100°F temperatures. The adhesive is designed and tested to be safely removable from most, including painted surfaces. **Q: Will this product hold up in outdoor conditions and direct sunlight?** A: This door protector works best indoors or in covered outdoor areas. Direct sunlight and temperatures above 100°F can cause adhesive failure. For outdoor use, install on shaded sides of doors or use small screws with washers for secure installation. **Q: How strong is this product - will it withstand large dogs or persistent scratchers?** A: The protector works well for all breeds and withstands heavy scratchers. The thick polycarbonate resists punctures from typical dog claws. Many dogs stop scratching once they feel the plastic texture. For best results, combine with proper training. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worth Every Penny! *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 28 July 2025* Excellent product, It actually does what it promises my door is completely protected from scratches now. Before this, my dog would claw at the door every time I left, and the bottom half was covered in marks. Since adding this protector, not a single new scratch. It's a huge relief. The material is thick and durable but still flexible, and it sticks on cleanly without damaging the paint. It’s also crystal clear, so it doesn’t make the door look weird or messy you barely notice it’s there. Install took less than few minutes, and it’s been holding strong ever since. If your pet scratches at doors like mine does, this is hands down one of the simplest and most effective fixes. Worth every penny. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great protector but don't hold for long *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 6 November 2020* I do think this is a great product, slightly pricey but the problem I have with it are the sticky pads for adhering to the wall. They don't stay stuck for very long! Would have been nice if they could have been 'clear' rather than to the white and black pads but on the whole I'm very happy with the product ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worth the money *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 14 July 2026* Does what it says ## Frequently Bought Together - PROTECTO Heavy Duty Door Protector Dog Scratch Guard 2 Pack 35.5x24 Transparent Cat Scratch Protector Easy-to-Install Anti-Scratch Door Guard for Dogs & Cats Protection for Furniture Walls and Windows - Gorilla Double Sided Mounting Tape Clear 1.5m, Pack of 1 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ph/products/63307012-protecto-2-pack-ultra-durable-door-protector-for-dogs-90x60](https://www.desertcart.ph/products/63307012-protecto-2-pack-ultra-durable-door-protector-for-dogs-90x60) --- *Product available on Desertcart Philippines* *Store origin: PH* *Last updated: 2026-10-30*
