This is my first Scriveiner pen and I'm now most definitely a fan. The crimson red is lovely and the pen itself is just the right weight for me - it has weight but not too heavy, if that makes sense, so you can write comfortably for ages. The ink flows well and dries quickly so it's a pleasure to use. The pen comes in a lovely box and also includes a medium, black refill, which I hadn't realised - so worth noting as I ordered Schmidt refills at the same time and didn't really need to. It's a pity I don't need any more rollerballs as I'd be tempted to get another in a different colour!

I have not experienced any issues with ink leakage or skipping, which speaks to the reliability of the pen's design.I've noticed that my penmanship has increased considerably due to the pen's weight—a welcome boon.

I love this pen because it looks expensive and writes beautifully. I also like that it can be personalised with a name. I like it so much I’ve bought a few as special presents for my students.On the downside, in the description it says the pen is decorated with 24K gold and there’s no mention of this on the packaging. You’d think there would be for the price of it. Therefore, there’s no written indication that this is an expensive present.

I purchased this pen as a gift for my Mum. She absolutely loves it. The colour was true to the picture. It has a nice, solid feel to it. It's smooth writing. The box it comes in is really good quality. It was a bit tough to open it. It came with a refill and a two year warranty which she was really happy about. It's definitely worth the price. I've purchased more expensive pens and the quality definitely wasn't as good as this pen.

I ordered the pen as a gift.It was delivered by the Royal Mail but left outside the house so I never actually received the pen.I contacted customer support who sent me out a replacement and refunded me.Thanks to Dan for all your help.The pen is fantastic great quality ans writes so smoothly - I’m very happy with the purchase.

I am a pen snob and make a lot of hand-written notes with high quality writing instruments. I am a fan of Montblanc pens, and was considering purchasing another Montblanc when I came across these Scriveiners.I just received the pen and - WOW. The writing is effortless and the ink delivery is beautiful. My signature has never looked so good. My Wife, who doesn't care about these things, LOVED it and was amazed how effortless the writing experience is. She said, "your hand won't get sore from writing with this, you don't even have to press down." It's a great looking, resin-style pen with a good lacquer. Nice and rich looking. Not too heavy, but feels substantial in the hand. The box is very nice and the free refill enclosed with it adds value. It's no Montblanc, but for the money, I'd say... are you looking for a nice writing instrument for yourself or as a gift and don't want to spend hundreds? GO FOR IT.
