I’ve just bought a new car with wired CarPlay and after being in my wife’s car with wireless CarPlay I just had to find out if there was an adapter available. Low and behold, yes you can upgrade any car with wired CarPlay to wireless CarPlay by buying this cheap but incredibly good quality adapter. Just plug it into the USB port you would plug your phone into for CarPlay and the setup is quick and straight forward. Every time you get into your car from that point on the adapter will power up in a few seconds and connect to your phone automatically giving you full CarPlay functionality without having to plug your phone in. This is a game changer as half the time I just couldn’t be bothered to lift my arm rest and plug my phone in, this is just fit and forget. The performance is stellar, there’s no lag, the sound quality is equal to a wired connection and it’s tiny. Very good product from a very good seller. Thanks.

It didn't even take five minutes to set this miracle device up. The instructions are very clear and concise. If you're the type that doesn't follow instructions, just remember to "forget" any Bluetooth connections to the car in your phone settings before plugging in the dongle. I also "forgot" any connections to my home Wi-Fi just to be sure. Then simply plug in the device, allow pairing and any other pop-up dialogs, and it should finish setting itself up within a few seconds. One set up, it works just like in our other car that came with wireless CarPlay and you honestly can't tell the difference in functionality: when you turn the car on it connects within 30 seconds and the CarPlay interface pops up as if it came from the factory that way. Could be one of the best things I bought this year.

My 2022 RAV4 has a USB plug for CarPlay. It’s too much hassle to keep on plugging in my iPhone, so I decided to get it. I was over the fence between 2 brands, but ultimately went for this. The initial setting up is quite easy. It actually took me a longer time to read the manual. Lol. My phone connected with ease. Everything is nicely synced. Automatic connection when getting in the car. Sound is nice and crisp. Siri works great. A little pricey than I would’ve liked, but it is what it is. Only comment would be that the CarPlay USB plug in my car is in plain sight. So if anybody from outside tries to look inside, they would easily mistake it for an iWatch because it looks like one at first glance. Not a dealbreaker though and still love it! Only been using it for a day, so will update after a few months.
